Personally I'm not interested in marrying anyone so I'm not sure if I'm qualified to answer this question because it doesn't matter what kind of work a woman does I'm not interested in marriage.
That said, it all depends on if the woman is currently working in the sex industry or if she's retired from it. Generally speaking sex work and relationships don't mix so I wouldn't marry anyone currently working in the sex industry but if she were long retired it could be a possibility.

stripper yes as long as there were no extra curricular activities which in the clubs I go to makes it hard for them to make money if they don’t. Cam girl absolutely and I’ve met a couple of them. Nice girls. Porn actress probably not until she was retired from it.

I don't see drugs and drama being more rampant in the strip club industry than any other work place. About the same in my experience. I've worked restaurant jobs where my co-workers (usually 20-30 something year old males and females) were also constantly high on the job and sold coke on the side.

Are we talking Cheesecake Factory here or Chez Pierre-Louis?

Plenty of people with vanilla jobs who are broke at the end of the month too.

Re: Would You Marry A Woman Who Worked In Adult Industry????
Here's a related question. For those that HAVE dated and/or married someone who is or was in the biz. Would you consider them to be better looking or in better physical shape than other people their age? It seems to me that that would be natural since appearance is central to their career, much more than in most vanilla jobs. If so at least that would be a fringe benefit.

The people I have dated that were in the adult industry were, and further they were good at optimizing their appearance when they wanted to.

Lol! I wonder what the 70 year olds are doing on this site. Tired of playing dominoes with their retired buddies, I guess.

70 y.o. Mr. Duckie: since this is in the Would you marry a .... My answer is sure, why not.
What a delightful option for a woman who worked in the adult industry. And he can probably last longer than most young men, on top of that.

Responding to Ms. Adelina
It seems to me that you believe that once a person reaches, what shall I say, a more mature age, that the person should no longer be considered a vital, worthwhile, or useful human being... that the person should be relegated to playing dominoes and hanging out at the mall with the other AARP members. Sorry, but as one of the older people, I don't buy it.
I saw that you have been on this forum for 13 years and made over 700 postings, but only one time have you "thanked" or shown appreciation for anyone else's posting. That says something to me.
I've almost always tried to be positive and supporting to other people, but I'll make an exception for you. If this is truly the way you feel about older people you don't know, that is unfortunate.

Re: Would You Marry A Woman Who Worked In Adult Industry????
Please let's all remember that posts sometimes don't convey what a person meant. Goodness knows I have made those posts in the past. The people here are usually very nice, so remember to read their posts in that context. This is a good thread and I don't want to close it. Thanks!

Noone said that once a person reaches 70 years of age, they are no longer a vital human being. When I see a 70-year-old man, I think of my grandfather. If he told me he has hots for a much much younger woman and I assume he does if he would consider marrying her (an adult worker or a forner adult worker, in this case), I honestly would feel creeped out.
Btw, thank you for letting me know about the "thank a post" button. You seem to have done your research. I never paid attention to it, to be honest with you.

Yes it takes a special type of person to work with older people but thank god they do. I hope they'll be there when I'm seventy plus if I make it. I'm inclined, like most people, to be skeptical of the possibility of real love between people with a big age difference, but it does happen.
I do want to say, I'm not sure who told anyone on this board that any age of person doesn't find attractive people attractive. That's why they're called attractive people. If a person is very attractive, like, let's say, Henry Cavill (I've been watching advance copies of The Witcher) then people from ages 18-80 find them attractive. You don't stop seeing attractive people when you age. Science.

To find someone attractive is one thing, to want or ask them to marry you, is another. It's great when a person of a mature age is still in great health. And they can enjoy living a happy and healthy life with an age appropriate spouse. I am sorry, but to see a 70 year old mature man with a 20-30-40 something woman (the majority of female demographic on this site) is just eww. If you don't believe me, ask other young women. Some will feel the pressure of "being polite" and will not say what they really think. And for the record, I do not mind working with/dancing for older men. But if they proposed to me, I would find that inappropriate.

I completely understand what you're saying - there is a huge gulf between finding someone attractive and asking them to share your life. As I said, I'm inclined to be skeptical whenever I see a May December marriage between people of either sex. It works the same way for young gay men with much older men and young straight men with much older women. However, one thing age has taught me is that this is a huge world and almost everything that can happen, does. I just try to keep an open mind.

Re: Would You Marry A Woman Who Worked In Adult Industry????
You are not seeing it from a young woman's perspective. When an old man tells a young woman he would marry an ex adult worker ("sure, why not"- his words) and that he can still get it up and can probably last longer than many younger men (Mr.McDuckie deleted this part of his post), as a much younger woman than him, I simply do not want to know that he still has it going on. It's offensive to me when a much much older man may offer a possibilty of intimacy to a girl who could be his granddaughter's or daughter's age. Do you not know that we even have some underage girls reading this forum?

If we do they should leave now, this forum is for adults only. And any people who are adults know that there will be different viewpoints. I think we've heard yours, and some of us will agree with you, others will disagree with you. I'm sorry you find some posts here in the customer conversation forum offensive, but nothing I've read here in answer to Miss AP's question is particularly offensive to me. Mr. Duckie is allowed to answer, and to have his opinion. Plenty of blues will disagree with him, and they're allowed to do that. You are too.
