Stripper vs Massage Parlour in Canada?
Hello! I'm deciding which one to start working in and I have a few questions:
- Which one pays better?
- How should I approach clubs/spas to ask for work or for about work?
- Is massage parlour considered sex work?
- Which one do you prefer working and why?
- With a stripper/spa girl income, can you afford to rent an apartment for yourself and go to college?
- How much does maintaining yourself cost?
- How has these jobs changed you?
Thank you!

Read this thread for dancing info: https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...sked-Questions!
Some of your questions are going to be area dependent, Canada is a huge country.
The main things to consider are that yes, either field can pay for what you want, depending on how much work you are willing to put in.
Both jobs are very different, I love dancing but I have friends that work in parlors and couldn't stand dancing when they tried it, because there is so much time wasted chatting guys up and sitting around. When my parlor friends are waiting for clients, they get to do coursework or nap or read or whatever.
Maintenance is going to depend on how much you personally want to spend, as there are girls across both fields that spend as little as possible (paint your own nails/use natural hair color or dye it yourself/inexpensive makeup/etc) , and ones that spend $2k+ a month on upkeep (hair/nails/tanning/personal trainer/extensions/botox/fillers/spas/ etc etc etc) so it's just going to depend on your market and your employer.

Depends on the club. In some places it's dress code, some places I've worked have let girls work in flats, although both girls had hip issues so it may have been a special exception by management. They still wore heels on stage for shows but then wore flats on the floor.
A divier club I worked let girls wear literally anything and a lot of them wore mukluks on the floor and it looked trashy as fuck.

Wow thank you for the info! I just want to work for the money, will it affect my job outlook later on?

Yes and no.
In some areas one or both of the jobs have to get city licenses. Most of them aren't publicly able to be searched, but it is "on paper" somewhere, and is a thing that could always change in the future.
The biggest issue most of us have is resume gaps due to full time adult industry careers. There's various ways around that (periodically getting vanilla jobs, having a vanilla sideline self employment, "embellishment" of various kinds, etc) as very few places will be willing to hire anybody who has done adult industry work.
It also depends on what sort of career you're looking for later on. In some fields, even if the info got out, it isn't such a big deal, whereas in some professional organizations, it could have your license suspended.

I have experienced both and like the established price of the lap dance ($20 in my area) per song and I like the atmosphere of the parlour because it is relaxing like SuperJa said. You can't exactly do coursework or read too well in the strip club! I like how in the parlour they pick you instead of you selling a guy on a dance. I like how the parlour has a day shift (my area strip club does not) Both can be really boring when there's not many customers in the club or customers coming in, so you have to be really good at self entertaining.
