Going from a performance-oriented club to a straight floor hustle club
Hello,
Wondering if you ladies could help me out. I worked at a performance oriented club in Portland, OR for 4 years. I never really worked the floor to hustle because I was fine with the tips I made by just doing pole work. I just moved to Denver and things are a lot different here. Here, you actually have to hustle the floor for dances the whole time. People don't tip stage at most clubs. How do I make the transition? I feel like I'm starting dancing all over again.
Thanks

It kinda is like starting all over again if you're not used to hustling the floor.
Basically just make it a goal to talk to as many guys as possible, mention dances (and vip options if those exist) and you'll eventually get into a natural routine. When on stage, save your energy if people aren't tipping, focus on maintaining eye contact with your audience and chatting with them at the rail if your stage setup makes sense to do so. Ideally when you get off the stage, even though you may not have made tips, you'll have dances lined up waiting for you.

you have to adjust your hustle based on what the energy of the room is like. it's hard to say because you didn't really mention what sort of club it is and what sort of clientele it attracts. what are the options and pricing for dances? Are there different VIP options? Champagne rooms?

Audition at Shot Guns it’s a nice combo of working the floor and stage tips.
