Do customers like short hair?
I've always kept my hair long and wavy because I think guys like the Victoria Secret model look, and they would comment about it being real (not extensions). Thing is my SO wants me to go shorter, about shoulder length to maybe a chin length bob. I'm worried it would hurt my money potential, but maybe I'm overthinking it?

I have danced with various hair lengths from shoulder to almost waist. My shortest was shoulder-grazing, and the couple times I cut my hair that short, I did worry a bit about how it would affect my earnings. Honestly, I didn't really see much of a difference. As long as the cut/colour is flattering and not too 'out there' I doubt you will have a problem.
If you do decide to go short, you can always take it as an opportunity to play with extensions or wigs. Shorter hair is easier IMO to deal with when you're using wigs just because you have less mess to secure underneath.

Honestly I can't speak to earning potential (there's a super hot girl at my club with short hair but idk how her money is) but I think you should have your hair how YOU want it. Not how your SO wants it.

dont! don't let your SO bully you into a hairstyle that can hurt your money. if YOU wanna go short, fine, more power to you. but don't let a guy tell you to go short, while you work in an industry where your looks influence your money.
Re: Do customers like short hair?
I see a lot of gorgeous girls in different clubs with shorter hair(I've seen some reeeally short and some above shoulders) making money. I think how they feel about themselves, number one, stops it from affecting their earnings because they own it. Such a cliche thing to say but I think we all agree if you feel good you're killing it all night.
Also, think of it like when you put together an outfit. If you're going to wear a plain t-shirt and jeans but still want to look glamourous.. you accesorize, do your makeup..maybe a red lip, maybe style your hair a little bit more, and add some awesome shoes.
Same for short hair - okay your hair is short but your makeup, outfit, and confidence is screaming bombshell. AmberRose is a good example of rocking short hair and making everyone love it.
