What do you do when your club goes downhill?
I used to make an average of $800/ night and now I am making $40 a night and whenever I talk to anyone, they look at me like I'm crazy for approaching them. I know it's not me. Nothing has changed about my hustle, my look, or anything. But what the fuck is going on?
I live in a conservative state that hates women and sex workers. So I'm honestly thinking I'm going to have to start travelling, because it's like this at all the other clubs in this city. Has this ever happened to you?
Re: What do you do when your club goes downhill?
How long has this been happening? The occasional bad week or even bad month happens, but if this has been happening longer than that I would leave and try other clubs. Clubs aren't loyal to you, so why should you be loyal to them? If it's really so bad that you're averaging $40/night then you need to go elsewhere because it doesn't make sense to do such an emotionally and physically demanding job only to be paid less than a minimum wage worker. I'd give other clubs a chance first, and if you're not having luck anywhere I'd travel out of state. Or maybe you can try camming.
Re: What do you do when your club goes downhill?
It's been like this for almost 2 months. I agree we shouldn't be loyal to clubs, but it's hard when there are only two good clubs in the area and you have to travel to actually do better.
Like I just came home and cried because these men are just so rude, they treat us like trash. I think I saw 3 girls doing lapdances all night out of 15 or so. No customers were tipping. And the management still expects us to just take it and sit for free, be naked for free, without payment.
We need to unionize. I am definitely going to try other clubs and camming.
Re: What do you do when your club goes downhill?
Girl, I just wanted to commiserate, as I'm in the exact same boat. My club has always been inconsistent, though averaging out to a good wage, and during the summer there'll be a few nights where you make $40... But those shitty nights have stretched out into November now. I just came back from one. We have twice as many girls as we can support & the customers are skewing younger and broker. The only girls making consistent bank are doing extras which is even more disheartening.
I don't have a ton of advice besides either waiting it out or traveling... If you're sure it's not you, of course - but if only 1/5 of the girls make money, that ain't just you. If there's a good option to travel to that you could drive to, I'd give that a shot. Traveling is it's own set of risks hence why I'd hesitate to dump $$ on a plane ticket if you're struggling already.
Re: What do you do when your club goes downhill?
Thankfully, I live within a few hours' driving distance of good cities to dance in. But yeah, NO girls are making money unless they have a customer. It's like I'll make $500 or $200 here and there, the rest is $40 or $120 which may as well be $50 a night. Absolute bullshit.
Re: What do you do when your club goes downhill?
I think it's fairly rare for a club to go permanently downhill so quickly. Maybe try a weekend or week elsewhere to test it out... I would give your home club a couple more months before fully quitting though.

Are other girls still making money? If so you’re in “the downward spiral”. It happens to every one. Only thing you can do is change club (might not work) or ride it out. Best thing is to just accept it and relax and money will come back real quick. I know I sound crazy but I been doing this a long, long time and it happens to the best and if you start panicking and work even harder it just gets worse. Have you ever noticed that some days you’re making money super easy? That’s because the customers feel your energy and pheromones or whatever and they attract to you. When you’re in “the downward spiral” they feel your desperation and despair even if you hide it well.
I know it sounds crazy ;)

Oh yes, it was definitely just me! Low key burnt out girl!
I've been doing this for 5 years and I don't usually get burned out so I forgot what it feels like. I have been having a lot of stress in my personal life and getting rejected constantly by rude, ungrateful men just added to the stress.
THank u babes.
The key is to PRIORITIZE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. I decided to take a week off even though I didn't think I could afford it (I could, I was fine). I did a cleanse, got back in the gym, did a BUNCH of emotional work and I'm ok now.
