Any LA Area clubs that haven’t yet made everyone “employees”?
Does anyone know if there are any decent clubs left to work at in the LA area that haven’t made everyone “employees”? I’m losing way too much at my current club since the switch.

I know a few, but why bother? All clubs are eventually going to make the switch even if it's later. Those clubs that haven't fully switched yet are trying to figure things out by setting different rules to get us used to reaching our quotas, taking breaks, limit the hours we can work, etc.

I was wondering the same thing. If people could list the clubs that haven't gone to employee status that would be helpful.

Knockouts in Arcadia and Satin in City Of Industry are two (they are outside of LA city but in the LA county). They aren't switching to employee status until the first week of February but they're already setting schedules and firing girls on the spot for failing to sell dances.

This is ridiculous. At my club that switched over on the 1st, already a ton of girls have stopped showing up. I went to Vegas for five days and it was a shit show, flooded with girls from LA all doing the same thing. It's not even worth it at my club anymore. They take my first $100 "earned" as a house fee and then the "commission" on the dances is BS. I don't know how they expect to stay in business basically just telling all the girls they're gonna do the same job for 1/2 the $.
Well... I've heard Portland is good... maybe I'll try that.

I just don’t understand how this can be legal. Contractor status is a legal status. That’s like saying electricians for drywaller‘s or plumbers are not allowed to be contractors either. I feel like somehow this is being left open for a lawsuit.
How frustrating !

Portland is not good . I live here . I’m good looking, have a customer base, and I hustle and I can promise it’s slow as shit here.

Ava I was gonna say the same thing. I have lived in Portland 3.5 years. It's not even worth it, I haven't been dancing in months...

So, my old home club just announced that they're not going to make the transition of employee status I'm not sure why. Just a girl whose still there told me. It's not in LA it's a bit out of the way but it's in Santa Maria, It's the spearmint Rhino. Used to be an amazing club because of location but it's gone a bit downhill but the money potential is still there. Most of the dancers there have never danced before and have little to no hustle and the customers have money and are willing to spend it no problem. I just had issues with management. The money isn't as good as it used to be but it's still there. It looks like a dinky little club but is definitely my second favorite club I have ever worked at.
