I may have pissed my club off - what to do
I've had a rough past couple of weeks and have been drinking more at work (which I know is extremely bad/unhealthy). Last night the bartender kept giving me shots instead of mixed drinks for some reason but I didn't correct her so I just took the shot every time she gave me one. Anyways long story short I blacked out and apparently left in the middle of my shift. I somewhat remember leaving but not really - I do remember making some excuse up when the bouncer at the door asked why I was leaving early. However I did not end up telling or asking management if I could leave.
This club is pretty strict about scheduling and I'm honestly embarrassed about the whole thing. I'm scheduled to go back in on Thursday - should I show up and see if they say something? Should I apologize to management? Or should I just go work at a different club? There's another equally good club in town I used to work at that would probably let me return.
I usually drink at work but not this badly. I realize I should start working sober and there is a local juice bar I plan to audition at once I get a new SS card, however that will be a few weeks and I need to work in the meantime.

Just go back, don't say anything. If they bring it up, apologize and explain that you were blacked out and that it won't become a habit. It was a one-off thing. You should probably lay off the drinking so you can show that this won't happen again. They may even put you on drinking restriction.

I'd just go back in and continue working to see if they'll say something and if brought up apologize. Trust that I have pulled far worse. I've even stormed out on schedule saying I was never coming back and showed up the next day lol.

Depending on your relationship with management -- like, if you're either a head-down, keep-to-yourself type or if you're somewhat favoured for whatever reason, vs already being seen as a problem child -- and on whether this was a one-time thing, I might consider trying to go back. They are used to drama llama stripper antics and if they can believe it was a one-off from an otherwise reliable worker, they may be willing to forgive you.
It may also probably depend on how bad your blackout behaviour got before you left. Anything short of a full-on Johnny Paycheck temper tantrum shouldn't be insurmountable.
If you decide to give it another go, I wouldn't bring it up with management unless they come to you first. Don't draw further attention to yourself. That's the complete opposite of what I would want to do in this position, to be honest; but I have snitched on myself in both straight and SC jobs because I thought it was the high-ground move and had it come back to bite me too many times.

definitely go back and try. If they fire you then you can always go to the other club. whereas if you don't show up for a scheduled shift then most likely you can't go back ever again if they are strict...

I agree, w/everyone..
But, I'm curious, why was the bartender feeding you shots like that?
Anyway, good luck, it seems like they would take you back.

I’d just go back. Cash is king. I’d just tip them a nice tip and be like, “sorry you had to deal with my drunk ass...lol.” It’s a bar. That’s not at all BAD for stripper shit. They’ll get over it.
