Going to Guam on the 29th!
Hey guys :) I'm going to Guam to dance starting April 1st. I want to document a new updated Guam thread if anyone is thinking about coming out or if you have any info or suggestions for me :) I don't leave for a week, but am super excited. I know that I could make more money staying in the US (non overseas Guam) for less hours, but I'm looking for something specific that I know Guam can offer me. Anyways, I don't leave for a week, but will be updating to let everyone know how it goes :).

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Yesssss I am so excited to hear all about it! Been tossing around the idea of going to Guam this summer. What club are you going to? How long is your contract? Thanks for sharing this info!
-
Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
I'm going to be dancing at club [email protected] My contract is a 2/3 month - dependent on what you want(I sign tomorrow and have already read through the club rules though let me know if you have any questions on that). I'm super excited for a fun stripper trip(Vegas has been not fun for me lol) . My plan is to go Thailand after so I'm not super worried about money because I've heard it's not as good as in the states, but I can update on that once I'm there in a literal week from now!

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Thailand is so cheap and easy fyi
I was there for months and you can PM with any questions. You only need about $1200-$1500 to live there a month and that's living well. It can be done for even less.
Wow, guam sounds exciting.

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Oh wow! That is seriously incredible! Thank you @carmen_b I probably will once it gets closer :)

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
I too am interested in hearing about your experience!

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
I'm also curious to see how your experience goes. It might be something I'd try in the future. There have been some posts here discussing Guam but a lot of them sound kind of spammy.

That's because a lot of club managers ask girls to vouch for clubs there. There's only a small handful of strip bars on Guam that are tolerable in terms of contact and work environment.
The causal name for Guam is "the poor man's Hawaii." It's not meant to be a spiteful term, it's a joke about the size and culture of the place.

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Yeah so it's slow season here right now. Busy season is Nov - March. It's not super slow season ( June -Oct), but it's still not that busy. I've only worked two nights (Mon & Tues) and it's been really really slow. I've still left with over 100$ each day plus the 75$ per day (which is nice!). I love that there is no house fee and that they literally pay you to work. You get 450$ every 6 days you work. Plus 50$ for being there by 7:30pm each day. We are on schedule for 4-6 days a week depending on how many days you want to work. Management and staff are super nice and the mamasans are really helpful. The club takes 50% of all dances and drinks that you sell and you keep the other half(5 min = $50, 10 min = $100, etc) (Dancer drinks are 20, 50 and 100). You make most of your money selling drinks so it's not that hard on the body. You keep all of the stage tips though. You could easily make more money in the states, but I love the environment here and know I PERSONALLY will make more here being on schedule. I hated dancing in Vegas and never wanted to go in. I actually look forward to going in here, it's fun and the girls are sooo friendly! The Japanese tourists are really nice and so are the military $$$. I haven't been here for a Carrier ship to come in yet, but the girls say those are easily 1,000$ nights. I also haven't worked a weekend either yet, but I've seen that it's wayyy busier (300-700$). Most of the girls left with around 200$-300$ on the Monday and Tuesday that I worked. I'm still just so new and always ask for the cheapest and shortest dances, but I'm already getting much more confident. You go on stage about 4-5 times a night so it's definitely not the place if you hate stage (3 song sets). I was nervous at first, but it's easy now that I've had to go on so many times. This isn't the place for everyone, but I prefer it to the states. Girls help each other out, the money is more than enough for me, the airfare is free if you stay for 3 months, the island is beautiful, housing is free except utilities, and the management is really nice.

you will probably be wanting to run away from thee after 3-4 weeks

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
I've noticed that you seem to have a lot of negative things to say from looking at your other posts. You're also coming off pretty condescending. You have no idea what I'm looking for in a club. FYI I did a lot of research before coming out here and talked to about 5 girls that were working at the club I'm currently at. This place is definitely not for everyone, but it's the type of club I'm looking for. I'm not one for the Vegas style clubs while some girls are. Guam clubs are much more my speed. You really shouldn't make negative unasked for comments that could potentially deter someone from coming out here. Especially if you aren't even going to say why you didn't have a good time out here. The current girls I live with have been here multiple times and really enjoy it. My current roommate is on her 6th time out here so while it may not be for you, it is for some people. I will do an update in about a month though to share how the experience is going.

I'm happy for you. It's nice to hear about a dancer having a good experience there. Good luck and thanks for keeping us posted.

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
I understand that, but you posted negativity without any say of why you didn't like Guam. It just came off condescending. I'm hoping you didn't mean it that way, but that's how it came off. To say that "I'm probably going to want to run home in a few weeks".......Just came off a little rude ya know? I also saw what you wrote in the Las Vegas club post. And let's be real.........not all Vegas clubs are dirty. Come on girl.

Is this Pat from Club USA lol?...….
People aren't being "negative" about Guam strip bars, just realistic. My friend's son worked at G Spot for many years. Not all the clubs there have a problem with former independent contractors sharing opinions about the strip bars.
-
Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Why does it seem so suspicious to share good opinions about Guam lol?! I'm seriously about done trying to help other girls out on here. I don't need to waste my time typing out these messages anymore......This is making me not even want to post an update in a few months. I just know that I was super curious before coming out here and wanted other girls to know how it really is.
-
Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
If you guys really want to hate on Guam so bad.....don't come. More money for me lol. I will not waste anymore of my time trying to help.

Exactly! Haters will hate. It happens a lot on here and another site I'm on. I'm sorry it's happening to you, it's chased a lot of dancers away from this site, many ex members have told me this. I'm not directing this to any one member on here in particular. But the hating is prevalent on here. So many are reluctant to post a lot of things on here lately because they get a flood of hate.

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Thank you, I really appreciate it. I'll still post an update in a month because of your message @nyla19 . I'm only trying to help other girls out. I literally get nothing out of sharing my experiences on here. I just know that I was super skeptical about coming out here before my actual move. Again, this place is DEFINITELY not for everyone and you could easily make more money in the states. I just enjoy selling drinks as opposed to dances because it's easier on my body so this place works great for me. Are there cons? Totally! If you don't want to be on schedule, not for you. If you hate going on stage, not for you. If you want to bank quickly, probably not for you. If you are looking for a fun stripcation though, you might like it.
And it's not that I have a problem with people sharing their negative opinions of Guam lol. Just don't do it in a condescending way. To assume that I'm going to want to run away in a few weeks is just rude.
-
Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Totally! I agree with you. It's really easy to diss people behind a keyboard. You don't have to go out of your way to post on here, you seem nice and you want to help others. Thank you for doing that. Make money and enjoy yourself. Best to remember the saying when you hear something negative, like water off a ducks back. I have trouble remembering that one too. Be safe and good luck for now...

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Yeah, nothing from the OP seemed like an ad for me. I am also interested in hearing how Guam is.
-
Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Same! Please keep the updates coming! I mean, if you feel like it. I really appreciate the info.
-
Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
I was interested. But they don’t like us over 30. Thanks for the updates anyway!

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Oh that is definitely not true. I've noticed that I'm like one of the youngest here (23). Most girls are in their late 20s early 30s. But yeah we have a bunch of 30s-40s here. Again, we are very slow here so I can't say it's worth coming out now.....but I love this little island. It's not for everyone, but it's good when the mariners come in ;). Just depends.
