Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
^ I came back specifically to read your updates. So yes, please post more about what you are experiencing out there !
One thing I am dying of curiousity about it that I heard it a " lower " hustle requirement than mainland USA.
Like .... the club ladies come around and do some of the hustling ( drinks ) for you which sounds wonderful to me.
I think it's fantastic you've treated yourself to this adventure ! ;)

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Keep updating! I find it highly interesting. Being that you're working a lot, do you find it hard to enjoy the actual island / tour/go to beaches/etc?

Again, we are very slow here so I can't say it's worth coming out now.....but I love this little island. It's not for everyone, but it's good when the mariners come in ;). Just depends.
I was going by what was on their website. But I totally get that it varies.

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
I am also very interested in updates! I enjoy hearing about stripping cultures in Europe, Canada and elsewhere. I don't see myself ever getting to Guam anytime soon, but I'm mildly intrigued by the possibility of doing a little 'working holiday' there if the opportunity ever presented itself.
Keep the current info coming! I would also like to hear more about Guam culture apart from stripping, since that was mentioned in a previous post.

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Did you buy your own ticket there?
I keep wanting to leave my boyfriend and run away to guam but i chicken out and never left when i was gunna go to foxys. In my defense though i talk to him and was like 100% ready even packed i wanted to go asp but he never told me an exact day or even a range. After eight days of not hearing from him and living with my boyfriend amd needing to unpack things he texts me an available plan ticket for the followinf day (like 26 hours notice) had he told me a time range or a some notice or if i left sooner i definitely would have gone. But I was being impulive and the impulse was no longer exciting and just scary.
But im still researching because im really going to do it one day 😂

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
^ If you really want to bail on him, there are so many cheap flights from L.A. to Honolulu too and so easy.
Hostels near all the clubs ect.

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Oh right on! I will keep the updates coming then :) Yes, the hustle here is a very lazy hustle. I'll sit down with a guy and within 10/15 minutes one of the mamas will come over and ask them if they want to buy my dance/drink and repeat every 20 minutes or so. It makes it easier to leave a customer that isn't spending money. I'll usually say something like "Aww I'm sorry babe I really want to keep sitting with you, but I'll get in trouble with the mamas if I don't get a drink or dance." Which is only partially true. If we are slow, then no one cares. If we are busy though, yes the mamas will make me get up to keep circulating. I've never had this problem though because I've never wanted to stay sitting with a guy that wasn't spending money lol. I have noticed that some of the other girls get annoyed by this though. It's super nice to have the mamas set up my dances, but it does get annoying when I leave a dance and am constantly getting dragged to the next one without having time to freshen up because the mamas already have a guy waiting to come in outside the door (like can't even run away because they are right there!!). We just had a ship pull in the other day and OMG was it busy. I see what the girls were talking about. Money was raining from the ceiling. I guess the ship leaves sometime next week, but I've already built up a few regulars (which is soooo easy to do with the military guys having to be stationed here) so my moneys finally become pretty steady. It's just hard to balance the regulars that are used to spending hours with me (on the slow days) and all these new guys from the docked carrier ship. I had 2 come in on Friday and 1 of mine had to wait for 2 hours and the other one stayed the whole night waiting for me but I was just sooooo busy that I couldn't see him. It's a weird hustle because you need those guys Mon-Thurs but almost have to ignore them on the weekend because the hustle is so different.

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
No not really. I work 7:30-2:30am and usually wake up around 10:00 or 11:00ish. It's really nice to have the whole day to do things ! I'm such a morning person so I thought working at night would really bother me, but I prefer having the whole day to do things. Dancer housing is super close to the beach and everything (minus a few hikes) are all within walking distance. I spend most of my days exploring the island, eating out, going to the beach, snorkeling, etc. I used to work like once a week in Vegas and already do wayyyyy more here than I every did outside there haha. The community here is very active.
But yeah, working 5 days a week on schedule has been exhausting. Especially because I have regulars that will come in every single damn day. I appreciate the money but it's tiring. Especially my regular that doesn't talk much. I literally just sit there with him and don't say anything because there is nothing more to talk about anymore lol. It also has been a little hard on my body with all of the drinking. You can always get fake drinks which is what I will start doing, Ughh I just enjoy drinking and get in such a different money making mood when I'm a little tipsy.

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
So I didn't buy my flight here. I had the club front the money for me which is really regret. You get 450-500$ for every 5 days that you work, but those checks don't start coming until you pay back the money for your flight which you do get back after you finish your 3 month contract. Along with a free flight home for staying for 3 months. Omg I know what you mean about flakey managers. I tried to originally come out with Club USA and the manager was super flakey in his responses. He said yes, didn't respond for like 2 weeks and then expected me to be ready to get on a plane to come out 3 days later......It's definitely a Guam thing. My current manager is a lot better though. I'm honestly really happy I came out with my current club because I've been talking to girls from other clubs and it seems not as good. They've told me they get fined a lot (we never do unless you no-show), have more aggressive mamas, and have harder times getting work off. All we have to do is ask. If there are already 9 girls working than you don't even really have to ask.

Totally! The culture here is verryy laid back. It's also really safe I walk to and from work by myself (7:00pm & 3:00am) to dancer housing (7 min walk) and have never felt unsafe. The cops are super relaxed here too. I guess that's good and bad. They don't really follow through with anything if you need them. My co-worker got attacked by a dancer from another club while we were at a bar one night and nothing has or will be done about the situation. Whenever we call they are "still investigating". I'm not sure what, the other dancer admitted to her crime. I've also seen drivers casually driving around with Coronas in their hands because the police don't care. So pros and cons.
Most people go to the beach everyday lol. I used to go to the beach everyday but got sooooo sunburnt. I applied sunscreen like every other hour too! Guam is just hot hot hot. I have not worn pants since I've been here. I don't have a car so I walk everywhere, and it's uncomfortable. The main street where I do the majority of my walking is unshaded and just insanely hot. I lived in Vegas for awhile and these 88degree days compare to the 100degree days back there! It's like walking around in a hot wet blanket because it's so humid. You can also wear shorts all night long and go for amazingly late night swims without even needing a towel when you get out. There are 2 water parks here that people go to, great snorkle spots, lots of amazing hikes (with tarzan swings and hammocks!), and soooo many amazing beach bar hangout spots.
A typical day usually consists of me waking up around 11:00am. Either making breakfast at home or going out with my housemate (we love eating out!). Knowing us, we will probably end up getting drinks and at that point we might go to a beach bar to keep drinking, go to beach and lay out on our raft tubes, get some errands done, or go swimming at one of the hotel pools. We might come back to nap for an hour from like 4:00pm - 5:00pm. Around 6:00pm we usually start getting ready for work. Walk/drive there around 7:00pm . I usually only walk when she's off. Work usually doesn't get busy until 8:30/9:00ish so I usually do some pole practicing or just sip on my shift drink(1 free one). We used to be able to buy our own drinks before 10:00pm, but girls were getting wayyy too drunk and ignoring customers to keep partying at the bar lol. Sooo now you need to wait to buy your own drinks until 10:00pm which sucks when you're bored, but has definitely helped my drink selling hustle. I'll usually walk home after work and either relax with a movie, participate in after hours somewhere (not fun - you have to be quiet the whole time because I guess the bars aren't suppose to be open ? Yet the same bars stay open every single night because the police really don't care. I've only been once but it was verryy weird. The bartenders are literally shushing people all night.), or go out to eat with some of the girls. Then i'll go home, sleep and repeat !

Yes! I'm actually half/half. We have about 3 other black girls, 1 Mongolian girl, 1 blonde white girl, 1 local Guam girl, 1 Japanese girl, and 2 other brown haired white girls. We had 1 other black girl and 1 other white girl but they recently left.

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
^ Hey, just a couple island tips I picked up from Hawaii.
You might want a bike. You'd be amazed how much one can expand your reach . $80 - $100 at Walmart ( if there is one there ) and they sell easily at the end of the trip for $40 - $50.
I used mine in Honolulu all the time and put a basket on it to carry groceries ect.
If there is a Costco there you can go get essentials and split the big portions like 3-4 ways if you get a few friends to join.
We would do this every couple months and it make a real difference. This one is as you get more settled of course - such a time commitment to go .

Omg yesss a bike would be such a worth while investment. We have a beat up one in our backyard that I keep saying I'm going to try to fix, but I'll probably just end up buying a new one lol.
Oh and I just left a little cafe out here that reminded me of Guam culture topics. I think the biggest thing to keep in mind is that everyone is on island time out here. I'm sure it's probably similar to Hawaii, but for me coming to Vegas.......I'm baffled at the lack of service out here. I don't blame the servers either really. There isn't a solid tipping culture out here because of the tipping culture of the surrounding area. The people here are verrrryyy friendly! But if you go eat somewhere you miiighhttt see your server again. There are a lot of Japanese tourists out here so most restaurants auto grad 10% because the Japanese usually don't tip that much (we actually charge them 30$ on entrance because they sometimes don't understand that they are supposed to tip on stage. You may get 5$ from each of them on a 3 song stage set after they grope your boobs and butt. Butttt boy do they love to buy us drinks which is usually how I profit off of those tourists. It's just a different hustle. I will say that I usually dread going on a stage surrounded by those types of tourists. They are suppperrrr nice and giggly and really easy to satisfy, but they want to touch a boob lol. A very non - creative and easy stage set.....but not everyones cup of tea. It is something you just kind of have to accept though since every girl allows touching. There have been days where I'm not feeling it and just stay at the back pole far enough from the hands, but I also don't make any stage money doing that. The American Military don't expect touching and will usually tip 5-10$ per song which is nice. ) The servers are used to only getting 10% of the bill. I usually tip 18-20% based on quality (which is bleh for Guam, but holy smokes will they remember you if you frequent a place a lot and are constantly tipping way above everyone else). It's weird, I'll go somewhere for the first time and get some meh service proceed to tip 20% because idk I work in a tipping field so it just seems like the karma thing to do unless my server was terrible lol. The next time I go in though......the door will be held open for me, servers walking my bags out to my taxi, a beer on the house, free samples of sauces lol! So tipping a normal 18-20% goes really far here since 90% of people here don't tip like that. Don't even get me started on tipping 20% at a spot that doesn't have the auto grad 10% hahaha.

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
Also let me know if anyone is interested in coming out ! We are hiring right now and I can get you in touch with my manager if you'd like. I will keep it very real with you.......we are in the slow season (150-300$ weekdays and 300-500$ weekends) so you could definitely make more money wherever you are probably at, but it's a fun experience if anyone is interested. We also do get ships coming in that bring crazy business (2 big ones since I've been here !$) but you could also only make like 40$ like I did last night lol(it's the worst i've done.....but I also just didn't feel like getting touched yesterday and was actively avoiding people. Thats the thing that sucks about being on a schedule. Even if you're not feeling it, you still have to go. All in all, I do love working out here. Looooove the girls and mamasans I work with :)

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!
What are the living conditions like, your room is provided by the club right?
Could you stay for shorter like a month if you wanted?

Re: Going to Guam on the 29th!

It all depends on how many girls are in Guam. Sunny owns two apartments that can fit 4 girls each. The apartments are really nice, but sharing your room with another girl sucks. I moved out of dancer housing because I couldn't stand sharing my room anymore. It also costs 450$ per month which I thought was stupid. The rent comes straight out of your paycheck. So you usually only end up getting 2 - 450$ paychecks a month if you stay in the housing. You could stay shorter than 3 months, but then you'd have to pay for your own airfare there and back.
