Re: How do you guys feel about regulars?
I don't like regulars. I mean if customers come in multiple times and remember me and wanna spend money on me that's great but the dude who wants us to have some kind of personal relationship and expects me to give him my number and stay in touch and talk to him like were friends? I avoid them like a disease. I like being the customers favorite stripper, but nothing more than that. The regular-y type of guys see you as more of a friend or significant other and hope that you wil see them as more than a dollar sign.

That is blatantly untrue and I'm sure hundreds of dancers in tourist areas would back me up.
I'm not even in a tourist area & I've never had more than maybe 20% of my income be from regulars (we all know how I feel about them, especially in light of recent events!)

One of my best regulars I had was when I was in a "tourist club". Out of town regulars are the best. They don't want to be stuck bored in a hotel, so automatically come to see you when in town.
Just find out what they do and how often they have to come in to your area. And obviously, make sure you don't forget to mention your schedule. ;)

People who don't understand that you can make money in more than one way, and that there are really no rules or limits to the kind of money to be made in this industry. People who are stuck on one "right" way of doing business and will never evolve with the industry. People who have no hustle.
Re: How do you guys feel about regulars?
That didn't answer my question. If somebody wants to quote numbers and percents, I need to see some data. I want to know where this "70-80% of a dancers income is from repeat customers" comes from, because IME it is very much false. The only way it would be even close to true is if it's referring to customers who have been to the club even once before.

Agree strongly with this.
305girl, I only very occasionally had anything remotely resembling a 'regular' whether my own or communal and for the most part, I did just fine. I am calling BS on this '70-80%' stuff. Maybe in certain clubs or areas, that's true, but nothing is standard in this industry.
Re: How do you guys feel about regulars?
They as in Stripperweb.
Literally, over 60% of my income comes from regulars. More or less, 20% comes from out-of-towners. The rest is just a random collection of customers who lives locally or the next county or across town/county or international tourists.

I literally in 9 years dancing (its my stripperversary to this exact day 9 years ago) have made over 95% of my income from non repeat customers. I had one real regular this year and he just kept getting cheaper and i think he's gettin the axe. welcome to Miami, where there are too many cheaper girls to get quality regulars.
actually, I prefer hustling new guys. it keeps it more interesting. I run out of things to say with their boring asses.
Re: How do you guys feel about regulars?
I like hustling out-of-towners and guys who are partying out during spring break, Cinco de Mayo, summer, bachelor party, Labor Day weekend. Still, times like that don't come often and they're just there to spend at that moment. But most of the time, it's the same nonsense of "I don't do dances" and being ask for extras. Reason I rely on regulars most of them time. I just to talk for a minute or two and pop the question. If they're known to spend more than 4 dances, and are well-behave, I give them more time. Seriously, I'm just a lazy girl these days and saving up to get out of the industry.
Re: How do you guys feel about regulars?
Such a waste of time and energy for me unless they consistently spend a significant amount of money; I don't like hearing about a guy's ex wife or getting constant text messages (on my fake phone) if he's only going to spend $100 on me. In my experience they'll spend more in the beginning and then see how much emotional labor they can get for the least amount of money because they know you depend on them, or sometimes they'll spend significantly more on other girls while spending less on you and I just don't have time for mind games like that. I love a good turn and burn personally and one time customers tend to spend more money on a one-off occasion.
