Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
Woke up this morning before my alarm went off from a weird dream- all I remember was something to do with maneur and someone I didn't like (but I don't know who it was). Journaled and reflected on that dream with my morning coffee.
Did an upperbody workout and listened to a scheduled paraliminal. Felt tired this morning- but I GTFO anyways. Stayed on for 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Logged off for a lunch break and a nap. Got a couple of new camming outfits in. It's been a hot minute since I've ordered anything new to wear on cam.
Logged back onto get my 6 hours in today. Not sure if I will make it to goal, but I am going to do my best in this remaining 1.5 hours. I don't have the mental energy to do more hours today lol

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
This morning I slept in because I needed it- yesterday left me feeling mentally exhausted although I did hit goal thanks to a Skype regular- I am/was so thankful for that show because it reminded why I enjoy camming. Took a detox bath last night to destress.
Morning journaling with coffee
Listened to scheduled paraliminal- Talking to Win.
Healthy breakfast.
____________
Streamed 3 hours 71% to goal
Taking a lunch break then back on to finish up my hours and meet my goal.
Mood- calm and feeling good about the day
6 hours streamed and exceeded my high goal.
Had to sign out of Skype because it got to be overstimulating.
An old regular on SKype I had blocked because he became an annoyance used a different user name, and then came into my room on SM.
Going to destress and go for a good walk and meditate.

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
Woke up at 2:22 am this morning. Didn't walk last night wanted to get to bed at reasonable hour. Did some self reiki and detox bath.
Morning self care:
Journaling with coffee
Listened to scheduled paraliminal
Workout with resistance bands upperbody and abs.
Post workout shake for breakfast. Got some supplements arriving today for muscle recovery I am hoping they help.
Making today a short cam day because of errands and to spend sometime with the kiddo and her grandmother. I need the social acitivity today.
-
Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
^^^222??? OMG, good sign. Social medicine is a must. Glad you're getting that in.

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
27 days in the gym and I feel strong. Today's training session was 40 min weights. I did dead lifts and squats with 20 lb dumbbells. OMG, going from 15 to 20 really felt hard!!! Then my BF murdered my arms today. I used to do biceps with 20 lbs and I did it today with 25 and it just hurt LOL.
Feelin good after taking 3 days to just rest. I'm back at it for a 10 hr day today. I don't know if I'm really ready as it's only been 1.5 hrs and I'm ready to get off LOL.
Oh shit...gonna have to push.
-
Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
^^^ Man, he is going to get all sorts of buff :)
Recharge time is so freaking necessary! I have no idea how you pull those long hours- it's mind blowing.
-
Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
^^Yes! He pushes & supports. Everyday we train he says "good job. You look skinny. You look GOOD"
Sis, self care & lots of meditation. I can't attribute it to anything else. Meditation is a fucking godsend!
Hope your social medicine worked. I'm gonna have some myself. After 7 hrs of streaming I NEED it lol.
-
Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
^^^I feel that. I am really happy that you got a great guy :)
Yes on the social medicine! This morning wasn't bad as far mind numbing members, but the last few days were nuts. Although I am glad I stuck it out- I am actually reaching my goals and it feels so damn good :D
My time with the kiddo was good. We went to our fave coffee shops and run errands- talked about plans for my birthday to get out of town. Her grandmother had to cancel- I was really looking forward to seeing her. She is supposed to hook me up with a good Kimchi recipe that I can make for my Dad.

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
^^Wow, that just makes me smile sis!!! Sounds like you two spent some real quality time together. Stuff like that really heals me. Touch and Quality Time are my top love languages. Really pleased to hear it.

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
Well Jesus! My BF's scale is wrong. This whole time I thought I was 153 lbs. Turns out I'm only 143 and just 3 lbs off my goal weight. Thank fuck for my BF weighing himself at the gym. I hopped on after him cause he said it said his weight was 10 lbs off.
I've been pissed for nothing. He's been saying I look skinny, but I'd brush it off cause the scale kept saying otherwise. I'm super happy now.
Also my training session this AM was wild and good!!! 45 min of HIT on the indoor bike and I killed it! I feel so healthy and strong. My Fitbit recorded the whole thing and I was recovering at an all time high. I AM HEALTHY!!!

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
Last week I fell off the self care wagon.
PMS arrived a week before my cycle started and it was brutal.
The healer that I wanted to book for my monthly reiki session was out on vacation. I found another healer that was doing distance sessions. Had a really nice talk with her and she asked if me if I had an interest in studying reiki. I told her that I am a Usui Reiki Master and my other current studies. She invited me to a reiki circle- which was really powerful. She holds them weekly. The distance session went well.
One thing that I realized this last week is how important self care is and implementing self reiki everyday into my routine, as I feel I am less reactive and it improves my mental state- along with meditation and exercise.
I woke up a little later than planned today. It's time to get my head back in the game

Super exciting post! Having a new circle of healers must be invigorating.
& that quote reinforces the need for this thread!

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
It was a really interesting experience to take part in. She has been doing a weekly circle since the pandemic started to send out healing energies to everyone. Along with 148 days straight of self reiki.
I am really looking forward to this week's circle.

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
Was in a psych hospital for 3 days due to a severe derealization episode & lack of sleep. Diagnosed with anxiety disorder. I'm aware of it.
Best part: BF supported me the whole way. He was there for intake, brought me clothes, took all my calls even while he was at work, picked me up, & took me home. That man has true unconditional love for me.
Been heavy on training at the gym & meditation. Diet has been right & my hydration levels excellent.
Cleansed my aura:

& this hour long Zen Healing session got me right!

Thanks! Good support is vital...You're right.
Will you attend the weekly circle here on out?
-
Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
^^^ I am attending from here on out. It will help me build my practice of reiki since things are somewhat limited. The more I practice I feel like I get more connected so to speak.
Also just throwing this out there- if anyone would like reiki sent to them specifically let me know, I will send during the circle.
It's Thursday at 7:00 pm CST we start sending reiki at about 7:15 pm.

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
Managed to wake up at 5 am, meditate and get an upperbody workout in today.
Cammed for about 6 hours today. Worked in 2 hour shifts.
Listened to the scheduled paraliminal today, and took a power nap, almost finished with the first round. The next round is more focused on LOA which I am excited about.
Slow day today- during the slow times I worked on 90 Days and Paid. I realized I have not done jack in terms of marketing in a loooooonnng time.
About to call it a day. I feel good despite the slowness of the day.

Well done! 6 hrs can be really challenging when it's slow. It sounds like you're being really productive with the down time. I need to update in the 90 Days and Paid thread!
