They are def giving a lot of reasons for girls to give up on the platform. It was good while it lasted. But 30% with so many issues and a semi-naked free chat?! At least token websites pay more. I can’t even explain how thankful I am that I’m not in this situation. I told my hubby last night about all the horror stories I saw and he said: “they are going downhill fast”.

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
I'm so thankful for my psychiatrist. Most only give you meds. Mine actually listens and cares.
I think that most of us in this business need some kind of mental health help.
I am very thankful for all of you on this forum. It has helped me to realize I'm not alone with the ups and downs of this industry.

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
I took myself to a nice Italian restaurant today. It feels strange because you don't see many women eating out alone. This is my third time and I'm really enjoying it. It didn't hurt that my waiter was cute and flirtatious.

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
One of my favorite YouTuber has a message about the light after pain. It resonated so strongly because I always remind myself that everything is always so beautiful once you come out on the other side. The little things, big moments, tiny moments...all of it! Just have faith.

Posted this in the Amouranth thread, but it's also super relevant here!
She talks about how she makes millions on Twitch, but is such a workaholic that she's beyond burned out. In later interviews, she says she made some changes and worked on self care.

oooh that's the level I am yet to reach!;D
I did it a couple of times, but always felt a bit unsatisfied because I couldn't discuss the food or talk to anyone while waiting for my order. And unfortunately, I can't eat and enjoy it enough when I am alone in restaurant ;/ When at home it's different story though:)

It didn't help my anxiety that I was seated in the middle of the restaurant.;D I felt like everyone was looking at me thinking "She must not be able to get a date." or "Apparently nobody want to eat with her."
The cute waiter did spend extra time talking to me, probably out of pity. LOLLLLL;D;D;D;D;D
It was fun though. I love breaking social constraints.

or they thought you were a very important/busy/traveling and most of all self assured woman who wanted to enjoy a nice meal. I’m glad you are doing that for yourself you deserve it

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
I am going for 3 days at the seaside and I'm leaving the work phone at home. I will completely disconnect from work, not gonna read anything related. I will stuff with seafood, lay on the beach, eat ice cream and call it a day.

That is very nice of you to say. That was exactly the image I was trying to project.
I hope your week is amazing. You are always so nice and gracious.

.
No way, Carmen! It's not about you!
When I see women dining alone , I always feel they are in their own universe, so content, very confident and mysterious.
So the waiter spent extra time talking to you because you were like a queen. I know, I know:)

I bet so too! Once you start getting used to it, it starts to be a very freeing experience that more women should try.
I haven't watched much sex in the city but would love to see that episode!

I am in some amazing and full of information groups but while anxious they cause me to spiral by browsing into them. I did nto realise how often i opened facebook while online. I tried 3 times already and only been online of 10 minutes LOL. Wish me luck girls !

Good luck Natty! You have taken a really good first step by blocking Facebook. This will free up time for your self care. You can do it!!

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
self-care today involves having my phone turned ~*OFF*~ all day. reading a book and enjoying blissful uninterrupted solitude. cannot believe i spent literally ALL DAY yesterday listening to the guy i am seeing vent to me about his parents. i counted 34 freaking text novels. that really happened and i really counted. today i will be totally unreachable mwahahah

It's been a while since I've been to this thread. Truly happy to see posts, ladies, where you're treating yourself well or admitting some care is necessary then engaging it.
I've had a very tough last 30 days where some serious healing was necessary. Desperate to heal...I stumbled across an hour long guided self-hypnosis that truly rocked my world. After using the free recording on YouTube about a week, I found all his content on Amazon Music Unlimited and have used the fuck out of a few. No exaggeration: these tracks are incredible and I feel like a brand new woman!!!
Here are just the most recent stats for an AM hour long session I do each morning and then the afternoon hour long session which is a totally different hypnosis track.

Thank you Sha, for posting as it was confirmation for me to get up off my ass and do something :) I saw your post yesterday morning when my mind was feeling like a chicken running around with it's head cut off.

I haven't posted here in a while-so here is an update.
I've been off of my self care game for a few months- sometimes I do okay with it exercise, meditation, taking time out for me and making time for social connection.
In the last three months I had to practice hanging the sign "Not my circus, not my monkeys" with people. I'm all about being supportive to my family and friends but there comes a point in time where if they aren't doing anything to improve the situation and they keep coming back with the same problems -it's a drain. I let it eat up a great deal of my time and energy- and that threw me off track. Learning to say no or waiting to respond has been helpful.
I had experienced really bad fatigue due to horomones- earlier this year. Fortunately that has been resolved with a supplement.
Along with the fatigue- was aches and pains-lower back and shoulder pain- I found ways to fix that by setting up a more ergonomic workspace- pillows for the computer chair, and an arm for my monitor to raise it at the right height.
I backed off up my self care practices - exercise and meditation to get caught up on admin work of the business and to get that part organized. That's caught up and now it's time to get back into practicing self care.
The only part that I have stuck with has been morning journaling. I know I need to engage in those other parts as the help me manage stress better.
I also backed off monthly reiki sessions as life happens. I have a session booked next week with a new practitioner so I am really looking forward to having some clearing done- my head feels like a wreck.

Sister, we heal, live, run into snags, then just have to refocus and return to what's worked in the past. Super, I mean, SUPER glad you are enforcing boundaries. They are the key to a happy and healthy life.
I had to say no to a man with 6 figures, but he had healing to do, and I'm not a fixer...anymore. Saying no is a saving grace. WELL DONE YOU!!!

Re: Cammodels: Managing Stress & Self Care
I can't believe I'm just now finding this thread, but it came at the right time.
Recently I deleted all social media apps off my phone, especially TWITTER. Comparing myself to others is not something I ever do usually, but with my depression in high gear, sleeping on the couch since Thursday night, and not working, I began to feel myself getting angry and envious of the curated lives I was seeing in my feed.
Here I am, a beautiful go getter with written down plans, content ideas abound, and I have all of 9 videos published on my clip sites and nothing else to show for it. I separated from my Husband in November of last year and began camming again to care for myself on my own. It's nearly a year later and I'm NOWHERE NEAR where I thought I'd be. Laziness and depression is a BITCH, now I'm feeling like a complete loser. This isn't me.
I've begun therapy and started new meds a few days ago, but I'm still struggling to get off the couch. Barely showering (if at all) and eating cereal for the past few mornings is just...not me. This isn't who I am. I'm supposed to be this no nonsense boss DOMME, and here I am, not even confident enough to get on cam. I'm just not feeling it...
Okay. Rant over. Now I gotta find ways to get out of this slump. Rent is due on Tuesday and I'm sitting here fucking off...I hate this.
