No place would hire you, unless they don't mind the risk of being shut down.
If you have your birth certificate and other identification why not go get an ID? Even if you don’t drive the DMV can issue you an ID card.
Would recommend going to AT LEAST get a state ID. I believe they allow you to get one at 16 y/o at the youngest, and it's valid for a few years. I got mine around that time and I think it was only $25 and I went to the DMV with two pieces of mail for an address and the other ID. Literally took 10 minutes!
Like others said, legally, no one will hire you. I did get away with using my passport as ID for a job application when my ID expired but this was for a retail job
is the birth certificate a US one?
I suggest you get an ID
Nobody is going to hire you without an ID and if they do, it's a very shady place that's likely going to end up getting shut down. Shady places end up getting permanently closed because they often have many illegal things going on. If you have your birth certificate and other identifying cards, why not go get your driver's license or a state i.d.? Then once you have your driver's license or state i.d., go in an apply.
I agree with the others, you need a formal, government-issued ID. I am one of those losers that did not get a driver's license until my 20s, but the DMV will issue you a plain ID card for legal purposes, such as employment or required identification for flying.
