How to turn down a stripper.
Strippers generally don't approach me.
I always see them watching me.
I suppose to see how they can game me or maybe something else.
Some strippers are straight up and ask for a dance immediately. I smile say no and they are on their way.
Some strippers look me in the eyes and say hi and make a compliment. I usually smile just say thanks and tip them. I don't try to keep the Conversation going and Conversation ends.
Some are real touchy and rub themselves on me.
I just generally let them do their thing instead of cutting them short. We talk a little and when she finally makes the pitch I smile and I decline the offer.
But I tip them for their time.
I told her no thank you. I appreciate your time though and tipped her 12 dollars for 5 minutes at the bar. She walked off to the dressing room without a word, disappointed and came back when she was up to dance. I had some dances with her once before.
She kept making eye contact with me while she danced but as she was leaving the stage she started crying.
Maybe it had nothing to do with me but is there a better way to decline a dance?
I just like to chill out and watch people at the club. Interactions between strippers and customers, behaviors etc...
Or just watch the light show and enjoy the music.
I'm not the type that doesnt tip or make you work more for a tip.
I understand I'm coming into someones work and I respect their work ethic if they have one, meaning I will tip them more for a pleasant demeanor or playing a song I enjoyed.
Most dancers don't have much of a game. Their body does most if not all of the work for them.
I'm just chill and want to give out positive vibes.

Re: How to turn down a stripper.
It could very well not have been about you and your refusal was simply the unlucky back-breaking straw.
That said, if all you want to do is 'chill out and watch' then why are you there? You could stay in and save your money, or just go to a regular bar where the women populating the place are generally not trying there because they have bills to pay.
Dancers aren't zoo animals.
The fact that by your own description, you put zero effort into any of your interactions leads me to believe that it's not just the dancers that 'have no game'. Successful interaction is a two-way street. You sound lazy and cheap, and like you are there more to perv than to actually contribute anything to the women working to entertain you.

Your perception is probably how I am received since yall think alike.
Cheap would be the guys that don't tip or tip 1 dollar or get you to do more for it, but that's my opinion. You obviously must live in a different reality.
I tip the bartender, I tip the cocktail waitresses, I tip the food staff, I tip security, I tip the bathroom attendant, I tip the dancers. I might not give all my money to dancers for lap dances but I spend a bit each time I'm out. But thanks for pointing out that I'm cheap, guess I can just not spend at all to receive the same sentiment.
Regular bars don't have the visual appeal nor the ambiance of a higher tier strip club.
Dancers are not zoo animals indeed, because zoo animals don't get tipped or paid, their handlers and owners do.
Just because you're a dancer doesn't mean I have to ENTERTAIN you. I'm there to be entertained and I'm not there to GAME you either.
I guess that's the stereotype and misconception, that if you're at a strip club you must be a perv or deviant.
I'm just looking to see if there are other ways to decline without any negative feelings.

Re: How to turn down a stripper.
You seem like you are tipping ( at least a bit per person unless I read it wrong ). I wouldn't stress about it too much. She probably had a string of " no's " or a looming bill which is just a stress ball and has happened to all of us.
If this happened recently ( 1st or 2nd of month ) I often find this is the most excruciating time to work a club . People are often " tapped " from their rent checks and girls are starving for cash for theirs. I avoid them as a dancer.

I imagine it's always somewhat terrible energy as a customer so don't overthink this especially if it was recent.
Thanks for your input

Re: How to turn down a stripper.
Look dude, nobody said we wanted you to "entertain" us. We are at work. If you wandered into a regular store and hung out for an hour without buying something, they'd likely ask you to leave. Same here. You don't get brownie points because you bought a drink and tipped the cocktail waitress $2, that's almost mandatory just to walk in the door.
Handing girls $5 for their time is not enough for us to consider you more than club furniture.
If you insist on being a looky-loo who doesn't purchase dances, you're probably going to get ignored or given the stink eye. Just tell girls "No thank you" when they first approach, don't let them waste their time. Even if you tip them $12 for 5 minutes, they could have missed out on a customer who wanted an actual $20 dance or big money VIP.
Name calling isn't tolerated on StripperWeb, BTW.

Guess I will be banned shortly.
And your pov clearly reaffirms my error, seeking an opinion.
Thanks :)

What opinion were you seeknig?

Re: How to turn down a stripper.
I dont know why this subforum exists. 9/10 times, we answer honestly and the guy gets butthurt, calls us names, insists we are wrong, insists "but I am different/this girl is different", etc etc etc.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, but I can affirm that calling someone a hillbilly in your first few posts isn't a great start. If you start off with a chip on your shoulder why are you here?

Re: How to turn down a stripper.
So you don't buy dances at ALL? Ok, so say that as SOON as they walk up. "Thanks for stopping by but I don't do dances, I'd be happy to tip you for your time, though." Give them the $10-12 or whatever it is that you deem sufficient and she can leave when she feels that she entertained you enough for that tip. The end. Stop letting them go on and on/rub on you then giving them a few bucks. That will annoy them.

We're here for the 10th one - the few the proud. And the answers are read by people who don't sign up too, so your shared wisdom gets out there.

Re: How to turn down a stripper.
Seriously, why is this even an thread? Just say "I do not want any dances but here's something for your time." and tip. Everyone keeps it moving but it seems like the OP is just trying to create drama in the strip club. I really do not understand going to the strip club to hang out and not get dances.::)

I dont get dances. I usually go to the club to get drunk with a few of the dancers i know. Its a juice bar, so i gotta discretely BYOB, but the owner's pretty chill about it. Makes for a fun night, and the main girl i go to see walks with about a grand by the end of the night. We literally just drink and shoot the shit with her friends all night.

LOL. Yeah, ooooo-kay!! By being a human furniture?? You are NOT positive vibes. You are a time waster. Go to Hooters. Never mind going to a strip club to decline the entertainers(who have to pay house fee AND tip out to work there) and take up space from real spenders. Go elsewhere with your negative vibesssss. No one here is going to help justify Mr Cheapsky hanging out at a stripclub for free.

Do you pay for their time, or are they really hanging out for free???! Getting drunk and NOT getting paid is the stupidest thing a stripper can do!! SMH

Usually I pick up my friend at her house, bring her to the club, we hang out, get drunk, and I rain $20s and $50s on her throughout the night. I know a lot of the women there pretty well. Been to some baby showers and what nots. If it's slow, we'll just hang out and shoot the shit. Otherwise they do their thing until they need a breather, or a drink. At the end of the night (I stop drinking at midnight so I can drive), I bring my friend back to her house, take her dogs out while she showers up, and then we watch Netflix until I pass out on the couch cuddling with her cats.
It's a weird relationship. Like friends with benefits, except completely platonic. I'm deployed now, but we still talk every day and our snapchat has the red heart lol
