The difficulty in deciding whether or not to get these done - should be some way to tell if ones body would handle or reject the implants BEFORE getting the implants
Is there a way??
The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is noticing how the body reacts to smaller non surgical foreign objects like piercings or even how ones body reacts after injury/scarring
Some people are more prone to things like rejection, keloids, uncontrollably bleeding, scars that don’t heal without intervention etc.
And then I’m not sure how to check the state of a persons immune system but I’m sure that has a lot to do with it as well.
I would think implanting breast implants would be similar to implanting day a new lung, a new kidney, etc where a portion of patients will reject it because the body sees it as a foreign object it needs to purge.
My honest advice, speaking from experience-
IF you have a family history of autoimmune disorders or hormonal disorders (lupus, Sjogren's Syndrome, fibromyalgia, PCOS) you may have issues with implants.
Reputable plastic surgeons REQUIRE a pre-surgery physical from your regular doctor and they will go over the procedures with you before hand.
