Do I have to get fully nude on stage?
Okay this might seem like a super dumb question. But I’m new-and unsure. I’ve worked only 4 shifts before with a friend, but now have two auditions on Sat (Kinda, I reached out via Facebook and both clubs responded just wanting me to come in and meet them and the dancers and get shown around?) ones at 1pm the other at 9pm, and I’m used to being on my feet all day so I figured I’ll be fine and push through it if they even have me dance.
MY question is, if they have me dance do I need to get full nude? At the other two clubs I’ve been to I would just tease it on stage and save it for private or champagne rooms since I’m shy about it. It worked, but how realistic is it I could keep that up? All clubs in my area are full nude. But I wasn’t ever really hired at those clubs, I just went in with a friend.

Yes, majority of clubs, you have to be nude by the end of your stage set. My club is worse: dance on main stage for one song, be fully nude by the end of it, then walk down and walk through the tip rail nude for another 2 songs. It's worse on weekends with the satellite stages.
Re: Do I have to get fully nude on stage?
Depends on the club and the laws in your area. If it's a fully nude club then yes, usually 1st song topless 2nd song fully nude. I get it, because my g-string is like a security blanket for me. I always felt more comfortable working in topless clubs, but I've spent most of my career in South Florida where topless clubs are virtually non-existent, so I had to get over that. I'll happily get nude in the back ...I guess it's really an issue with freeloaders being undeserving of looking at me nude.
In some clubs I've gotten away with clipping a breakaway g-string to the side and showing my pubic area but not my pussy lips. In other clubs you'll get fined if you're caught doing that or the DJ will "remind you" that it's the 2nd song over the speaker. Nude clubs are not for everyone, but you'll probably get comfortable with it over time. The g-string really doesn't cover much anyway.

Or you can try to work with the DJ, with paying to remain off stage and not being nude there.

^^^ this too. My main club charges $60 to stay off stage the whole night, and I find it's often worth it because stage is usually a waste of time for me, anyway.
Re: Do I have to get fully nude on stage?
It depends on your club and boss conditions.
More clothes=less money.
Re: Do I have to get fully nude on stage?
I would only get fully nude on stage if I got tipped good enough. But I worked at one club that wanted us to get fully nude even if nobody tipped and I hated that.
Anyways, just ask the manager or whoever is hiring you. It's not a stupid question. Many dancers feel the same way too.
