Re: Can I work at 2 clubs?
You might get burnt out doing something like this. I've worked swing shift at vanilla jobs and it's exhausting. Switching between days and nights is hell on your body and not good for you at all. If you think you can handle it, go for it. I know girls who work at more than one club, but I feel like most stick to one because they like it, or alternate when one is stale instead of both at the same time. What ever you chose remember to put your health first. And don't mention it to the club owners either. Keep it to your self. Some places don't care, some do. I've seen girls get black balled for club hopping but my house mom was also a megga bitch so :/
As for what's normal for day shift? That's a question that depends on the club the city the hours the season the moon phase... It's not a realistic question without more information. I would say 420$ is good tho! :)
Re: Can I work at 2 clubs?
Dayshift potential and whether that’s good can fluctuate wildly. I’ve done better and I’ve done worse on dayshifts and it can be decent anywhere. One good thing about dayshifts is that new girl money is easier to get in those places.
Whether or not it’s worth with sticking around boils to two things:
1) how are the regulars? Not only the general regulars but also the ones you are able to cultivate?
2) if the regulars aren’t good, is there enough foot traffic and good spenders to make up for that?
I don’t see why not work at two clubs. I’ve made the mistake of sticking with one club for the longest time, and not keeping backup clubs in rotation to show up to at least occasionally before. But sometimes some clubs will go downhill and others will become popping and it’s easier to keep tabs on that when you’re looking around. (And can make your own observations, not relying on hearsay from other girls)
I also take it you’re a new dancer? I think the more club environments you’re in, the better for learning to think on your feet and adjust to different styles. I’m sure eventually you will decide you prefer one setting over another tho and make that your “main” spot/shift
Re: Can I work at 2 clubs?
Yeah I’m a new dancer! That was what I was thinking, since I don’t really know which one I’m more comfortable in yet or will fit best with, I figured I’d do both for the time being but wasn’t sure if it was super looked down on or not.
At the one I worked at yesterday I was super comfortable but the owner is super odd, and he bought 2 dances from me. Thankyou!
Re: Can I work at 2 clubs?
Aww. Well glad the clubs have been a good experience for you so far. :)
Re: Can I work at 2 clubs?
How many days would you be doing at each club? Like if you did mon, tues, wed day shift club a then thurs fri night shift club b or any variation of that, you may not burn out and you would be able to gauge what you like better. Me personally, I would probably just go with the nightshift club because it does tend to be better money and you will learn the faster paced hustle and learn faster too. Yes, in many places it's looked down upon so don't go advertising it.
Re: Can I work at 2 clubs?
I got fired for doing this, not like it mattered because I got rehired right away which I find is the case for any club you have a decent, professional working relationship but don't abuse that. As someone said don't advertise this, but in my situation it was a customer that ratted me out..they can and will talk if they see you at another club..I personally like day/swing shift, it's always been my preferred shift because I can stay longer if I needed too. I would go with where you feel more comfortable at
