Anyone have a customer say you're "too nice"?
I've been told a few times now by guy customers that I'm too nice. I'm not giving out things for free, over compensating with compliments or anything like that. I'm a polite, sweet kind of girl and I don't really cuss so when this comes up I'm not sure how to take it? Has anyone else had this come up? How do you play it?
Re: Anyone have a customer say you're "too nice"?
Under what circumstances do they say that you are too nice? Does this occur when you are offering them to spend some money on you and they say no because you are too nice? If so, that's just one of the excuses to politely turn you down, don't take it personal.
If the guy has already spent some money on you and he says you are too nice, that could be his way of expressing how surprised and possibly fascinated he is that you act very civil. Although why should it be surprising when a dancer is polite and courteous? You go to a restaurant, your waitress is most likely polite. You go to a store and the salesperson is expected to be polite. You go to an office, and the secretary greets you in a friendly manner
What's so surprising when a dancer is sweet and polite? I would think this should be the standard.

Right? I thought being polite was a good thing. Happens during conversation at the bar sometimes before they've spent any $$. But I have noticed it happens more with roughnecks so maybe they prefer more aggressive or naughty ladies? My best idea so far would be to turn it on them and give a naughty comeback to get a dance. What would you do?

There's another thread (very recent) on this topic.
Not sure if it's in this or another section.
If I find it, I'll link it.

You can’t be shooting the shit with them. Gotta let em know it’s time to handle some business all while exuding sexiness n confidence
Re: Anyone have a customer say you're "too nice"?
Meh I wouldn't worry too much about it. Sometimes it's just an excuse not to spend money like Adelina said. Often it's just a personal preference thing. Some guys do like the bitchy ice queen princess thing but some are turned off by that & prefer girls who are polite & charming. It's the same as how you can get turned down because you're blonde & he likes brunettes
The only thing is that sometimes it means they have 'friend zoned' you - now they see you as a real girl, like one they might meet outside the club, instead of a sex object. This is not what you want. To avoid this, steer clear of telling them too much about yourself. Dodge questions or give stereotypical/vague/dumb stripper answers.
Example: "What do you do in your spare time?" "Spend my money! Tee hee!" if you're playing dumb blonde. "Oh, I go out clubbing with friends... I get so naughty when I drink too much tequila..." Stuff like that.

As long as they don’t take advantage and mistake it for weakness, don’t even worry about it; just use your charm to get as much money as you can out of them! Be like ‘’I’m even nicer up in the VIP room...;)’’

THAT IS SUCH A GOOD LINE!
Seriously, I'm going to start saying that now. It's perfect.
