Getting out of a Funk??????????????????/
I was wondering what ya'll do to get out of a funk. My club has been super-slow, I am normally very persistent and never give up till I find that client that will spend a lot of money on me. The past couple weeks have been super-slow. Just wondering any tips on how to stay mentally positive and persistent when you have had a bad couple of weeks.
I've been debating whether to travel a bit to a busier season/city
any suggestions
thanks ladies ::>:(:O:-\

Honestly for me, I just take a break. I’ve usually always had a vanilla job in addition to dancing which has allowed me to do so. If you are only dancing, I would suggest trying out some new scenery and maybe you’ll get your groove back! Try not to go in expecting a lot because it IS slow season in most regions and you may find yourself surprised and therefore in a better mood and better mood usually = more money! Sometimes a quick break and/or a change of clubs is all I need.

Change of scenery. Also nothing is as good for bringing new appreciation for this kind of work as getting a vanilla job (assuming it's not a high paying professional job). Living paycheck to paycheck on a rigid schedule, with the coworkers you cannot avoid, typically makes one have "wet" dreams about getting back to the club lol

December June and July are always super slow and I either hardly work or I just take the month off. I was in a super funk last month and left in the middle of my last shift. I won’t be back until February and because of the break I took, I can’t wait to go back! I bought new outfits, shoes, new hair extensions and makeup. I feel like I’ll go back a new person. I recommend taking a break.

I feel the exact same way. I’ve been tracking my money and haven’t made over 200 in a night in a long time. I’m trying out vegas this week for the conventions :)

I have been in a really bad place mentally & on a whim went out and got a full time job and now I look forward to traveling to new clubs out of state on on the weekends and it got my head back in the game. I'm busy AF now but happier.
