Effects of LSD on art.
My favorite "urban legend" I found on Reddit that sounds plausible-
* The founder of Alcoholics Anonymous ("Bill W.") apparently used LSD to wean himself off of hard liquor. In reality his coming to Jesus moment was more of a "One With The Universe" moment thanks to experimental drugs.
Due to the prevailing culture of the time, it was easier to say "organized religion" helped Bill W. kick his life destroying dependence on alcohol than ….drugs.
(My personal opinion here doesn't matter. I have had several friends and relatives who have benefitted from the 12- step program...in varying amounts of time. I think overall AA and NA are good things, especially for people whose lives are being destroyed by addiction.)
The history of LSD is super fascinating. It's a proverbial "rabbit hole" of info that anyone with enough time on their hands can read up on it.
Experimental therapy with MDMA, microdosing THC and other "mind-altering drugs" for mental disorders and clinical depression is now super common.
Sadly, Bill W, for all that he gave, never kicked his addiction. He had to work at it every day to stay sober. To read his requests for alcohol as he dies is very sad. He asks over and over again for "three shots of whiskey". https://casa-12steps.blogspot.com/20...-deathbed.html < this doesn't have the transcripts, but tells a bit about him and mentions the deathbed requests. Amazing man, really.
He helped a lot of people during his life and after.
I would totally react like this! Still very funny!

Dumbest thing I watched on reddit...…….
someone trying to make an omlette with chopsticks. Like seriously, parents need to give their kids cooking lessons. Kids learn fast. (Just not this one on reddit, obviously.)
