No website ? Is it still worth the investment
I notice a lot of girls are now focusing more on Twitter and don’t even have websites but looking at their adds their pricing is in the mid- high range for initial investment/ just starting out would you skip the website to invest more in photos and other areas? Their also seems to be some providers openly venting anger with Eros. They’re still the go to on the east coast, what exactly are they changing that has everyone so upset.

Are you asking about purchasing Twitter ads for adult marketing?
Re: No website ? Is it still worth the investment
No, I wasn’t aware that was an option. I was asking for opinions about starting without a website to invest more into other aspects, photography, wardrobe and ads for providers.
Re: No website ? Is it still worth the investment
Okay, I was just checking. I didn't want you to invest money on Twitter ads only to be blocked later on. As for a website I think it's still a great idea but you have to be discreet. Honestly it doesn't take a ton of money to set one up. You can use WordPress software on a self hosted domain. IMO it's always a good idea to have a home site so that they can find you.
People are getting deleted from social media platforms all the time. If you have a website they'll know how to find you all the the time. I suggest throwing up a simple website with contact info and pictures and that's it. Basically a website doesn't have to be a major investment. Buy your domain on Namecheap and privacy protection is free. Although they are shady, GoDaddy has cheap hosting. This way you can invest in photography and a website.
Re: No website ? Is it still worth the investment
Thank you, I started building one on wix& squarespace but the domains weren’t included in the monthly price and then got overwhelmed. I’m going to to check out namecheap and just use it with the premade squarespace Template.
Re: No website ? Is it still worth the investment
Get a local web designer to do a very basic site for you that complies with your local laws on the books regarding escorting and FBSM. Shouldn't be over a grand even with bells, whistles and bling.
Re: No website ? Is it still worth the investment
There are so many tutorials on youtube on how to build out a basic site and at least you will be in control & it is a good skill to always have.
I don't get spending lots of money on lingerie, get the basics. How you model them & lighting matters more, also there are tutorials on youtube on how to model & lighting.
If you have a friend, customer who might be good at photography, why not have them take a few photos. Especially since most mobile & iphones have such great cameras. Spending a few hundred or more on photos seems like a waste of money. There are all kinds of photo editors for phones too.
Building up a social media presence & being a bit coy/discrete I think is important, but there are blogs & tutorials on how grow followings there too.
You biggest issue will be screening & the biggest headache.

@Snuffle I’ll have look into the laws myself as I will be traveling but I’ve pretty much mimicked the language providers in my area use, age disclaimer, adult content, time only etc.
@Sam In my area it’s very competitive in my “niche” and to be on par I would need to invest in a atleast one luxury type set. I’m starting from scratch as I have pretty much no lingerie at all right now. I’m using selfies now but I’ve found a photographer that’s reasonable. I’m already having issues as verify him hasn’t verified my account and P 411 won’t let me sign up without references. I’ve looked into booking into assistants but it doesn’t make much sense with no clientele at this point.

I screen with a copy of their drivers license and work info. I don't have any accounts like p411, and I don't trust verifications from other escorts. My website is on Squarespace and I market myself as an adult model. My fees are modeling fees. I don't talk about sex in any way, I just describe myself in a sensual way.
I think you should have a few sets of nice lingerie to start but don't buy too many for yourself. Pin a wishlist on Twitter, and tell your customers what you want when they say they want to bring you a gift. Men enjoy giving lingerie and toys as gifts.
There are websites like upwork and angie's list where you can hire a photographer who's good enough to take some professional looking pictures for your website and social media. Or you can have a friend take pictures and outsource photoshopping them to look professional. I second the suggestion about YouTube tutorials. There is a guy who specializes in boudoir, and there are a lot of great tips about lighting and posing. You can upgrade to a really good photographer in a few months when you start earning a lot of money. I like to have a boudoir shoot, and some picture of myself in the clothes I would wear to an appointment.
I post on Twitter daily and I'm trying to form relationships with other escorts on there, and get my name out there. I think Twitter is a way to become part of the escort community and engage with clients and potential clients, but I think a website is a good homebase. It also seems like a lot of Twitter is the old TER community, which isn't my cup of tea. For $20/month a website that can attract high end clients who want a true professional is a minor investment.
I haven't used Eros yet because I get most of my clients from good SEO. That's something worth spending money on. Eros charges $250-450/month in New York, but I think most girls are mad because they have a hard time getting their ads approved because they're too overtly sexual and Eros got in trouble for being something like an online pimping service after FOSTA/SESTA. You need to focus more on selling the experience of your company instead of outright sexual acts with graphic pictures of your private parts. I do plan to try out Eros in the near future because I want to quit dancing and I still hear that's where girls get their best clients.
This is the way I do it and it's all served its purpose. I'm always looking to updated my knowledge base though so I love forums like this, and I search for other escorts' websites that I like to learn from them.
Good luck!
Re: No website ? Is it still worth the investment
That’s one way I plan to screen but verifyme denied me access claiming I didn’t prove I was a “girl” wth? I currently have 0 twitter followers I’ve never had a vanilla or other twitter account so I’m starting from scratch. E r o s charges 285 a week in nyc for the escort category. They also want you to verify and post your ID for every add and may still deny you after that. It does have the best clients because it’s the most popular so girls will still use them.
Re: No website ? Is it still worth the investment
You can create a free website with escortbook. I did fbsm and had a site through there. It was free and fairly easy to create. If there are any photography students in your area, some of them can do decent enough work. You could use the timer function on your camera if you have a decent camera and take some pictures yourself too. I had a mixture of both professional and self-taken. Twitter can take a while to build a following.
Re: No website ? Is it still worth the investment
I’ve never heard of escortbook before I’ll check it out so far wix has been easy to use but the free version has a super long web address. I tried to take pics with my phone and they ended up very low quality due to lighting. I’m working with a photographer now just unsure if I should say they’re for my website... so far my biggest issue has been advertising and actually getting clients to send screening info, they literally vanish.
