Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
This is crazy and I really hope these dancers didn't rely on just the Stripperbowl to make money. Because Miami was packed this weekend. But many dancers are saying they walked away with very little money.
From the Shaderoom:

Ask those who attended Quality Control’s annual stripper bowl in Miami this Super Bowl weekend, and they had the time of their lives, but if you ask the dancers themselves how it went, well that’s another story.
A day after the Stripper Bowl involving celebrities and athletes throwing allegedly up to $1 million in cash, mayhem broke out on social media as videos started to surface of the Stripper Bowl and its after math.
Celebrity videos of the event showed dollars flying but other videos showed dancers fighting, attendees trying to steal money and accounts from several women who claim they were not paid what they were owed for dancing at the Stripper Bowl.
One video showed a women trying to walk off with a bag full of cash before getting caught by security. You can watch the video below:

As women started to come forward calling out Quality Control for failing to pay them, the label’s CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas finally decided to speak out on the controversy with the following message:

Here is the contract they signed beforehand:

Bossip should get an award for their article titles.
P-Poppin’ For Peanuts: QC’s Scammy Stripper Bowl Was A Cake-Clapping Catastrophe That Has Twitter In Shambles
Re: Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
I have no clue what a stripper bowl entails but
That dude seems shiesty af. Like a typical dusty pimp. He knew exactly what he was doing by saying dancers couldn’t collect money being thrown at them and his “employees” had to collect it first.
Hope those dancers sue him.
And hopefully no dancers dumb enough to dance that event next year knowing they will get cheated out their full earnings
Re: Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
Saw more posts on bossip n twitter and how attendees were trying (some successful) to steal that money being thrown
And a couple dancers saying they worked over 14-16 hours and made $1100 - $350 tipout so $750 total. I bet some of them lost money if they paid their own travel expenses.
I can’t see where experienced dancers would think it’s a good idea to let the club owner touch the money before they do.
More reading into this story says that $1,000,000+ was allegedly thrown on stages/floor but the owner allegedly only paid out approximately $400k to dancers.
Re: Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
Sorry last post.
I think.
I find it degrading to women after seeing some of the videos of women at the event being physically assaulted by security as well and seeing man pimping women under the ruse of “stripperbowl”
So many people wanted to be entertained by strippers but were stealing from them, fighting them, forcing long hours, bogus contracts etc. Classic case of women in adult industry being treat with no respect.
I’ve seen posts on Twitter that “hey they’re strippers what do they expect”

What does that last part on the contract mean? 'No exit will be blocked...'

I think it was meant as No one SHALL block the exits. It's poorly written and they should be ashamed of themselves. They should hire someone (lawyer, perhaps?) who can read and write a proper contract.
Re: Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
Juiceyyjuicebox breaks it all down on her Instagram story. The way she tells the story is kinda funny.

I interpret it as - they care about fire code aka not getting sued and easily losing
like if a fire (hell even a fight, gun fire, stampede, etc) break out, exits are blocked then people can/will die and the can get sued (most likely lose the case) as a result.

What it means is that some promoters have been known to lure dancers to a party then lock them in with "customers" planning to rape any dancer who will not consent to paid or unpaid sex acts.

^Yeah I thought it sounded like something f'd up.
Re: Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
I saw some instagrams of lots of ones being tossed around and was wondering what the truth about dancing in Miami was like that weekend. Sounds like it wasn't all glitter and rainbows. It's like Vegas on good days..."NO thanks. Not worth the chaos." Too competitive, drama, stress. PASS.
Re: Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
Cardi went on live claiming next one would be better and she would limit the number of dancers so each dancer would make more money (fewer people to split profits with)
Still doesn’t seem like a good idea based on how this one went.
Re: Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
There was a video of a girl who went to this and she talked about how much they all actually made. Despite the fact that millions were thrown they all apparently got paid a flat rate of 1100, which mind you does not include the 350 house fee they had to pay for a net gain of only 750. :( When you realize they were there for 14hrs and many actually traveled to work that event that's straight bull.

I'm in Miami and I've spoken to a few dancers that were there. It's true that they were only paid the $1100 after waiting around for 14 hours. But there were many dancers who made more and that's because they didn't follow the "rules". It was incredibly competitive from what I hear and was not a night for beginners or non-hustlers.
One girl told me that she started out the night as a stripper and then realized there were girls getting money because they weren't presented as strippers. She went to her car and put on a bodycon dress and then went back in as a party goer. So basically there were dancers who figured out how to make some quick money and then got out of there. Another person told me that some men were taunting the dancers because they knew they weren't supposed to pick up the money. It sounded like a pretty disgusting night.

Okay now this here pisses me the hell off. People often forget dancers are humans too; doing that kind of thing is downright cruel. =/
Re: Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
Omg, this event seems dehumanizing...
Re: Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
I forgot to mention that the $1100 was predetermined. They had already decided how much money they were gonna pay them because one of the people I spoke to pulled someone aside to ask. And for whatever reason they told her the truth but kept everyone else in the dark. If she knew then I'm sure there were a few others and most likely they knew not to follow the "rules".
Re: Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
“YOU CAN’T PICK THE MONEY UP OFF THE FLOOR.” Wtf?!? If this doesn’t indicate a scam, idk what does. I don’t think any experienced dancer will attend this event in the future, so the creator of the event just screwed his own event in the long term.
To me, this is what it sounds like happened: QC knew they could get a lot of dancers to come out for this Super Bowl event. QC, athletes, and celebrities throw a lot of money. The event looks super lit with all the dancers and a ton of money on the floor. These images get posted on social media which equals free advertising and great PR for Quality Control. QC and the club employees collect all the $. The dancers get paid a shitty flat fee. QC pockets the rest. It’s a win-win for them. They make $ off the girls’ backs while looking like total rich ballers who host hot parties.
I hope no dancer shows up next year. This shit is gross and misogynistic. And nobody cares because the injustice is against young, likely low-income, mostly minority women. There is no logical reason why a dancer can’t keep the $ thrown at her. That policy can’t be justified unless they knew the whole time they were going to steal the $ being thrown.
Re: Miami Stripperbowl 2020- Girls Lost Money
This is disgusting but honestly I am not surprised being that it's in Miami. Superbowl has not been worth travelling to for years. This event sounds a hot mess. If Superbowl comes to your city work at your normal club . I know here even the shitty club's did well on Superbowl. These events set up by greedy promoters are not worth it at all.
