Doubt it. Really, it's the male mindset and the economy that dictates this industry. Even if the economy gets better, the male mindset has changed.

Honestly for me in the end no it wasn't. I had my fun , made some money & was ready to do something else within the same industry.
Several reasons for my opinion though. 1.)I hated being around people so much in that environment, 2.) I made the same money when I started online work (camming/pso), there was no reason to go back. 3.)I had gained alot of weight to be considered "eligible" to audition (in other words I had sexy curves that most places seemed to not appreciate)
I'm honestly happier knowing I don't have to return to dancing anymore. I was ALOT happier when I quit knowing I could make the same amount of $$$ hustling online in the comfort of my own skin & privacy.
Seems that all I heard from alot of dancers was how hard it was dodging grabby hands & how cheap & entitled the guys were getting.
If you still wanna give it a shot, like actually try, (after the CoVid ride has passed through obviously) change up your look a little and switch clubs. Sometimes it's the club and not you and a change of scenery and new you can get you motivated again. Burnout is so real if you're showing up at a crappy club every night out of the week hoping to catch the one good night. That was the case with the club I was at, along with shitty managers and overpriced tipouts I was done. If I wanted to make only a little above minimum wage I'd waitress again. I switched clubs and now I'm excited to go to work, I can hustle the way I want to, my earnings have shot up. I moved nearly 2 hours away but it was so worth it, moving to where the money is. And if the money at this club dries up and I find myself stuck again, I'm moving on to where the money is again. I regret staying at that other crappy club as long as I did. I'm finally in my groove again!
Nope. I think camming might be good with the virus. Maybe after we find a cure It could get to popping, but until then there’s nothing sexy about wearing a mask and worrying someone’s cough could put you in the hospital.
Also, I think today’s fuckboys will be the best consumers in the future.
As said on here before, it generally pays much better than any entry-level job, especially if you have no degree.
If you do have a degree (or two), whether it's worth it is debatable and dependent on a few different factors.
Either way, I think it's very important to be selective on where you choose to work. I'm very fortunate because I did a lot of research on places to work before I set out to actually work, not did not just take someone's biased advice. Lots of older women in the biz say that the money is not what it used to be and I do think that stripping is no longer a get-rich-quick scheme like I assume it was in the 90s, but you can still do well and have fun at it if you find a club that suits you.
Depends who you ask. The positivity crack pipe users will just tell you to clutch your crystals and chant an affirmation. The vets will bitch about the glory days. I think we're fucked for now.
When I weigh and measure everything from my own personal perspective, I think it was worth it. It had ups and downs.. it provided me with some positive experiences, but also some negative ones and left me feeling a bit jaded with people, although other factors in my life probably played into the latter, as well. All in all, I don't regret it.
But I think it's time to close this chapter of my life(?). I'm pretty well paid at my vanilla job, plus the communications business is picking up, and that may be able to not only get me out of the club, but also out of an occupation which is traditionally very hard on a person's body. I also question the viability of going back to it even if I wanted to. Although I'm still in great shape and am frequently told I look considerably younger than I am, I am turning 30 this year. I think that, in the wake of the COVID epidemic, I think younger girls without experience in that environment are going to end up being the more desired ones. And I believe the post-epidemic male mindset will play largely into that.
The 'other side' of the shop is a long haul trucking company and a separate company from the one I work for. Last week, I overheard a conversation between one of their mechanics and a driver where the subject of 'lot lizards' - truck stop prostitutes - came up. The mechanic... we all call him "Creepy T" (and for good reason), said something like, "You gotta find one from a Third World country where they have no food and roll up with some McDonald's". Which, he said it jokingly and to live up to his nickname, but I do think whatever does come back to the club as far as custies go is going to be apt to having that mindset for reals. They'll assume we're just hanging by a thread and will likely also assume they'll be more free to take liberties than before. And I'm just not inclined to deal with that shit. Let's face it... for all the MGTOW sorts who claim we're the ones suffering without their company (how that's supposed to work out, I'm not exactly sure), the results of the epidemic, stay at home orders, etc. tell a much different story. So I expect that thirst and desperation will be substantially more than it was before, and their attitudes are going to reflect that greatly. They'll want someone younger and more gullible.
