Parked behind HER car?! That means they followed her. How else would they know to park behind THAT car
Wow yeah. Either that, or there's even more of them in the organization that what you see. Like, they're all around the parking lot using cell phones. Like maybe she pulled up and one of them saw her. Then he called the first dude she met in the store and told him she was walking in. So he and the other 2 surrounded her. Then they called a dude with a van to the scene.
I'm sorry but I don't believe this article.
First of all, people make shit up on Reddit for karma all. the. time.
Second of all, really? She was that aware of human trafficking that she took "several legal defense items" and noted other vehicles? Who takes note of other people not having a basket/cart? I routinely go to Target and don't use either.
Every time I see these stories I wonder how one gets kidnapped from a public place. This is a legit question, how? If 3 grown men were trying to strongarm you out, staff would notice. If their endgame is to get you when you're alone at your car, they're being really stupid about it by being so noticeable in the store. Most women I know would notice and get a security escort to their car.
True, I see what you're saying. It could be BS. And probably this one is. However, if a gal is paranoid and paying attention, you can notice some strange people & things too.
My theory is the way girls get nabbed, is that the kidnappers are using the same things that we are assuming we can defend ourselves with. i.e., the kidnappers are walking up behind girls, then using tasers & mace to disable them, and then carry them off.
I don't know if this is true or not, but if it is true they should have waited for the cops before she left the building. I would never expect a retail employee to put themselves in such a dangerous position, even if they are male. Like what are they thinking, some high school kid is going to scare off three grown men? I understand her paranoia though. I have gotten into my car on the passenger side before when there was a van parked next to me when there were plenty of other spots available, even though it was the middle of the day and plenty bright outside.
This reminds me of a case that happened a few years ago...

I'm going to call BS. It reads like fiction. 3 men all dressed in similar outfits, and a creepy white windowless van parked directly behind her car? It sounds like something out of a movie. I'd imagine if someone wanted to kidnap/sex traffick you, they'd be a lot more inconspicuous. I'm too lazy to type out an essay poking holes at every part of her story, but it's not adding up. There are too many fallacies.
Even if you have an M1911 situational awareness is the sine qua non.
If this is true those would have to be the dumbest wanna-be abductors in the history of kidnapping. In a big box store and then a busy store parking lot in broad daylight, with all the cell phone and camera technology we have now? Seriously? And they targeted 30 something year old woman amidst all of this?
You'd think that smarter abductors might have chosen a bar or club in the dead of night or some other place with younger fresh faced targets and better chances of getting away with it. Sheesh.
Now anything is possible I suppose, but I'm really struggling to buy this story.
It does seem dumb to go to Target. Target is so peaceful & quiet compared to Walmart, where no one's paying attention & usually everyone's zoned out lol.
But that said, Idk if anyone else gets amber alerts on their phone, but I can't tell you I've ever received one at night. It's always mid-afternoon in broad daylight lol. a lot of times in 5pm traffic I'll be driving down the freeway and get one. wild shit
There are cases of women being abducted in store parking lots in broad daylight.
