Pretty sure I’m hired, I’ll go in on Monday and post a better reply.
Clubs are back open in my area now and I’ve done a shift at two of them.
One of them has a six foot away rule with dances. Have to do mini dances on a back side stage. Which suck because that means you have to wait in line for your turn to give dances. And can only be there three songs at a time. Given how money demanding the staff there is even now (I’m not even referring to expensive house fees but just outright extortion there) definitely not going back until I can do proper dances again. Which probably won’t take too long because that club also hired a bunch of Cubanas and with their aggression, there’s going to be push back against how dances are done. Even the shift I worked, I noticed a bunch of them crowding the area together and grinding on customers and just outright ignoring rules when the managers weren’t there. The main thing that makes that place worth it is how ridiculously easy and fast you can sell dances, so that place is a shit show for now. I will say however is that I’m amazed at how much foot traffic that place had considering the circumstances. Dancers had to sign a waiver to work and customers signed a waiver to get in the building. Masks were required for everyone. Had to wear one when walking around, but could take it off when sitting at a table. People were kinda ignoring it but the DJ kept giving out periodic reminders.
Another club isn’t even doing dances period. Dancers had to take temperature at the door and apparently there’s been scheduling happening but that’s going away soon. Money comes from stage and sitting with customers trying to get tipped for time talking with them. Very relaxed vibe.
So far, better money than my day job, but it’s also certainly nothing to brag about. At this point I’ll take it.

I feel the same way -- I wonder if its time to hang it up but then I think maybe next year once shit settles down -- this year is fucking canceled>:(

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
Okay I gave the lingerie modeling studio a shot. Idk if what I experienced is like that everywhere, but I’ll say what I know.
Day shift is 9am-7pm. Nightshift is 6pm-10am (yes, 16 hours). There is some flexibility if you have other obligations though. One girl can in at 9 because she had soccer practice. Another person, somebody told me, leaves at 4am to take her boyfriend to work and then comes back to complete her shift. In the back area there are beds available, a fridge, a microwave, and a rice cooker, and lockers provided. You’re encouraged to bring your own sheets for a twin sized mattress, but they provide some as well if needed. There is a rotation system where all the girls alternate between who greets the customer when he comes in. That’s your chance to try to sell him. If he requests a full line up, then you go get the other girls. After selling a room, you are the one to take his payment. Can be a credit card or cash, and you’re the one to log it into a book. And deposit the house cut into an envelope and then into a safe. After a room session, we are the ones responsible for cleaning the room.
I got there at 7. I met five different customers, and none of them picked me. Two of them didn’t pick anyone and they walked out. Idk maybe I just had a shit attitude or something. Another new girl seemed popular, however. They were all 20something and skinny dudes who looked vaguely as if they worked either blue collar or service industry. The dancer lineup seemed to be the equivalent to a dive club, with some variance in what bodies looked like. Aside from me, there were four others I saw there on a Wednesday night
One of girls there was been working there for 20 years. She was really nice and tried to show the ropes. And tried to give me advice on selling (basically, be more flirty). She had a good point, but I guess I just have a sense of entitlement because when the standard room is $150 *total* (dancer cut is $80)...I expect to make money just for being hot and not having to try. I guess it’s nice not having to banter too long, either the customer wants a room or he doesn’t. But if I have to face as high a rejection rate, then I’d rather being selling higher priced rooms in an actual club.
The rooms have decent space, much bigger than most vip cubicles I’ve sat in before. There is a couch in each room and also a stage with a pole. If customer clothes are on, you can give him a lap dance and contact is up to you (the only restriction is no touching the other person’s crotch, both dancers and customers). Otherwise it’s also a jack shack and the customer relieves himself while you step away and dance for him.
I looked through the log book of previous dates of girls selling rooms. It dated back a few weeks since it opened back up post covid. Seems the highest a girl made (unless she was getting tipped fabulously that wasn’t counted) was $350 for the 16 hour night shift. Now granted, money I think is tighter in general anyways so I shouldn’t judge.
I might have given it another shot just for completeness sake, but ultimately, idk if I feel comfortable staying away from my dog for 17 hours at a time anyways. :/
The main pro I can see, however, is the small setting. The lockers were assigned and many girls personalized it. And also, alcohol isn’t served so you don’t have to worry about balancing out and not drinking too much.
It would be easy to stand out in a way that you can’t in a club. If the shifts weren’t so brutally long (like 8-10 hours) I’d be tempted to stick around and have my laptop and use the downtime to learn about the stuff I am trying to learn for future vanilla freelance work. That was my reasoning for trying it out in the first place. But the whole cleaning and monitoring the door for customers and making sure to lock the front when they walk out, and all doesn’t make it as “passive” as I hoped either. Still plenty of downtime though if that’s what you want.
Oh well. Back to the club! :P

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
I haven't been myself but have been trying to get as much information about it as I can from anybody that's been there. From what I've heard it's no social distancing at all, no masks, full regular lapdances and still doing freaking 10$ dance sales. And apparently it's been crazy busy. Nobody in this area seems to think it was ever real to begin with. I'm going to have to go because I didn't get a stimulus or any unemployment and with everything opening, them "holding off on the bills" is going to run out and on top of it we're going to have to back pay the last few months as well. I'm not dealing with it well because everybody I know is highrisk. If I can pull a couple shifts and make super good money I'll probably disappear again for a while. It's really scary to think about all of it. Like if I go I don't want to come back home now. But of course I have no where else to go either. This whole ordeal is a nightmare. You'd think they'd at least cancel the sales for a while.
Apparently the only thing they've done was take out all of the tables and chairs so it's standing room only. So that's going to be fun. Not wearing heels for 3 months then have to actually stand in them for 8 hours. I bet most of the girls are just not wearing shoes at all. (Normal for here)

That was my thought too when I read the shift times!

My club finally opened! Everything is the same just everyone is required to have a mask on the floor!

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
Well I went into the club. Honestly, I’d been isolated for so long I just wanted to get out and satisfy my curiosity. In my opinion, not enough is being done to keep everyone safe and I didn’t make any more money than I do camming to.make it worth it. I’m safer at home. I literally couldn’t work because I felt like every dance was bringing me closer to death. It’s just not worth it. I’m gonna focus on school and if I have no other choice I might go in if I HAVE to. In my opinion, it’s not worth it. No one was wearing masks or social distancing. People were pretty generous on stage. I just did stage and a couple dances. I just didn’t feel safe lap hopping. I regret going and exposing myself, but I’m also happy I got to see the girls and get out of the house. I got some gas and grocery money for next week. I’m getting tested ASAP. Might be okay at other clubs. I’m not judging, but I don’t feel safe.

Thousands of protesters have been literally shoulder to shoulder with maybe half wearing masks going on for a month now... how is a strip club environment worse than that. Honestly I don’t understand why people are still afraid of the thing because the worse of the virus should already have happened from protesters and slacking of social distancing...

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
I'm somewhat worried about some of these clubs getting shut back down again. Like a lot of them have just gone back to full 2 way touch for cheapo dances or full on extras included if one can believe tuscl. For some reason I naively thought this covid shit would clean up clubs everywhere at least temporarily.
And yeah these protests are pretty bad for spreading shit around. I would also think clubs would be bad because the music is so damn loud in most of these places everybody has to be yelling or in someone's face just to be able to conversate.

Hmmm....the stats are going up a lot especially in the southern states for Covid. I think everyone just gave up on it because they got tired of sitting at home. These strip clubs let things go back to the way they were because of money, and the people running them aren’t that bright(lets just keep it ). Like the owners could’ve come up with creative ways to keep everyone safe but cost money and time....nah....let the dancers, customers, and employees get sick while I sit back and count the money coming in.
So you have to ask yourself, is it really worth it for me to do this? Is the money there right now?

I get it...went from dancing in the busiest club in Las Vegas, to moving back to my original hometown on the other side of the country right before they shut vegas down, then having to doing webcam and phone sex instead. It was a complete lifestyle change. At first it was nice to have a break, but I def miss being social. So I do understand why everyone wants to go back, lot of girls are broke and guys miss the intimacy and fun of it. The state I’m in now just opened all the clubs, and i really don’t wanna risk getting sick. Not just that...but why would I wanna go in there wearing a mask, so you’re going to get tired more easily because you can’t breathe as well, and working twice as hard for less money?? Oh and the riots... city curfews....like I can’t think of a worse time to be a dancer lol!! To the girls who are working, even if you’re banking right now, make sure you have health insurance. One trip to the hospital can wipe out a months worth of dancing if you don’t have health insurance or your insurance won’t cover it.

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
it's fully nude i assume? can you keep your bottoms on with maybe a few flashes? is no-touching enforced? sounds like they kinda just leave you alone in a room with the guy and not much security. i've always hated dancing nude because even if guys know they are not allowed to touch there it's too easy to sneak a finger in there without warning *barf*.
i know all jack shacks are probably different but i don't have high hopes for security at the one near me, it's really small :/

I believe it was fully nude. The good news however is that money is up front and that’s standard. And a lot of customers seemed to have never been there before (at least from the little I saw) So it seems there’s some leeway to go about things however you want if they don’t have much in preconceived notions.
The place where I was at had one security guy, and he said there were cameras in the rooms. I believed him.

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
Is there at least like a fucking glass wall or something in the middle? Because I am not comfortable w some rando jacking off near me no barrier. I like money but not that much.

yeah that's the part that freaks me out. i don't mind contact dances, or showing my vag, but the idea of constantly having to worry about jizz getting on me is what has always stopped me from trying a jack-shack because honestly it sounds easier and less stressful than dancing, especially right now. that is if all the guys follow the rules which i find hard to believe. i might still try it for a night once things are less weird.
-
Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
No glass wall. I did have trust in the security of the place, however, because the owners (a husband/wife team) have a daughter that works there too. Which is weird imo but it kept me from doubting how it’s done there. I know the rooms were large enough that it would be easy to avoid the jizz. Idk, I’m not overly worried about customers trying to spay tho. I worked at a strip club in Portland where in the VIP rooms it was encouraged for the customer to jack off. And aside from a couple of them asking me to “lend a hand”, nothing scary or sketch happened.
-
Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
I have not been back yet, so this is just a sneaky observation of what I gleaned from the club's IG. And the comments there. It appears that the managers and floor guys are thirsty to open up, ready to hit up these girls' bags, but girls are shying away. Mgt. keeps posting thirst ads 1-2x per day for "Help Wanted-Bartenders/Floor Hosts/Wait Staff/Entertainers". Which is pretty unusual to keep posting that ad. Girls prob. shying away bc working conditions are worse than ever.

well .... what’s the probability of dancing for someone who was an unmasked protester or even worse has coronavirus and doesn’t know it?
Not everyone went to a shoulder to shoulder deep protest for the exact reason that it was too dangerous (Covid exposure or death/injury by deranged police).
What does the club say it will do to protect you while you’re working your ass off on the frontline during a health pandemic while the owner sits at home passively collecting each dancers 40% cut?
THATS how to determine if a club is worth going back to right now.
If you take the risk to work (especially in clubs with no safety measures) it’s imperative to save some money or have insurance or something in the event you get sick while working you can stay home to recover while still being able to pay some bills.
-
Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
I would think clubs are high risk for this because I am often in a guy's face or he in mine (due to how loud the music is) while I am trying to sell him on a dance or doing dances etc. Like we definitely breathe on each other no question. Now do I think I will die or have permanent lung damage? Doubt it. But I do not wish to risk getting sick for several weeks if the money is not high. I have a low paid vanilla job atm but I have also greatly downsized how I live so it pays enough. It is what it is. Maybe I will change my tune and be back in the clubs sometime this summer but not just yet.
I am not liking these reviews for my area with clubs closing earlier than normal, we gotta wear masks, seats removed at bar and stage, yet guys can still touch the girls if they buy a regular dance? Like what the fuck how are we stopping corona? Seems like the only thing they wanna stop is my money flow removing all those seats.
-
Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
I was thinking about it but since PUA got approved it doesn't seem worth the risk or hassle.
I might pop in in a couple weeks ( I'll be driving by a club I like ) just for a night to goof off and make a little travel $.

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
Texas closed bars and club's again today.
-
Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
Philly it’s supposed to be going to green tomorrow but now that we’re seeing Texas close and the rates are going up we might not even make it completely to green. It’s so much conflicting information about that.

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
Im in Dallas Texas guys. Most of our strip clubs that are licensed as bars are closed. Some of the clubs are technically open as of right now, those classified as restaurants. In the Dallas Texas area, right now this includes Mens Club and Bucks and maybe a couple more but those are the bigger better ones. Im not sure if they are hiring right now, but always good to call and check. Now, my thoughts are this.....the virus is going to keep throwing us blows like this for the rest of this year and even possibly into next year. I honestly feel that we could all see a government shut down again when fall and winter come. We need vaccines to get up and running again, good strong vaccines! Even though some vaccines are currently in phase 3 (almost done), we don't know how long its going to take for these vaccines to get manufactured and produced to meet our needs. Heck, we don't even know which vaccines will work best yet. Im guessing, at best, we MAY get some vaccines by early next year. This means we are going to be dealing with the effects of this virus hitting our world economy hard for a while. You need to prepare for employment outside of this dancing industry, do online work or something else. In my mind, dancing is not worth it at this time but that is for you to decide! Just my two cents! Best of luck to each and every one of us dancers out there!
-
Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
A club in my area got its liquor license revoked and is currently shut down. Which sucks, it’s a dive that I like :/ Another club, an upscale one, is apparently getting attention because it was in an upscale area and girls were being lax on wearing masks. And somebody employed at both clubs tested positive for covid??—can’t confirm tho. That’s the gossip I heard.
Last weekend, a week ago, it was great. I guess word got out because dancers came in droves earlier tonight. Way more dancers than there has been in the past few weeks. Plus I guess typical end-of-month bs. Had thought about staying later, but nope. Too many non spending customers for it to be worth it. Finished up my day shift and got the heck out. Idk what the point of a higher foot traffic nightshift would be if half the dance areas are blocked off. And deal with the frustration of either customers not spending, or having to wait for dances when there’s not even a VIP room option to salvage that extra time. Ugh.
It will be an interesting next few weeks. I wonder if this area is going to follow Texas’s lead in the next few weeks. The curve is flat enough for now, but who knows in the future...
