Yeah, the more I think about it i probably won’t go back ever unless the money is really good after the vaccine. Also, the vaccine only has to be 50 percent effective to be approved. We also don’t know if this fucker is gonna mutate and become seasonal. There’s just so many unknowns about this virus and the vaccine. It’s hard to really say anything with certainty.
Hopefully, we can eradicate this fucker like small pox. I’m getting vaccinated as soon as it’s approved. Buy bye Corona.

I read tuscl reviews on it and it doesn’t seem like funny business goes on, so I’m probably going to go in tomorrow to apply and give it a shot.
Most of what I’ve heard is that customer volume is down but so is dancer volume.
We've had massage places open back up^

probably safer. Honestly escorting is probably safer. It’s better to get some good middle class clients then go into the club with a bunch of randoms

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
I've been back to work in Florida and it feels ... kinda weird sometimes. Like people are trying to act normal but they're worried that there's some kind of etiquette they're transgressing. When I put their minds at ease or calm their nerves, they really open up to me. Money is good, too.

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
The last time I was in the club was in March. Girls I have spoken to said it's been really bad although they do hit the jackpot once in a while. I can't see myself ever going back unless there is a really effective vaccine, which could take a really long time from now. The club I was at put plexiglass around the stage and there is plexi between the dancers and customers in VIP. I don't see why anyone would even buy a dance. Just focusing on my vanilla business now.

See, like I look at clubs like yours versus one of mine and it blows my mind. Mine is doing absolutely nothing to protect us except a lot of lip service and concentrating on making it look good in case the health dept comes in. They are still allowing full contact dances in the VIP and girls to take masks off pretty much as soon as their butt is in a seat with a customer. I don't get it. Safety issues aside, 2 clubs have lost their liquor license here in the last week for this sort of thing. I don't get why the owner is gambling with theirs.
I really don't think it's worth it for most of us to go in when you compare $$ to the odds of getting sick anyway. I keep trying to talk myself into going in, but I just imagine if I got sick & was one of the 2% who needed hospitalization - I'd be sitting in the hospital thinking "Was your $300 that night worth it?" Even if I made $1000, was it worth it? What if I got an asymptomatic case & brought it to my mom or in-laws, or even just some random old person in the community?
I just can't justify responsibly going to work in a club environment right now.

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
Health and safety aside, as long as the money is ambiguous on account of limited customer interaction possibilities and limited customer interest, I don't want to be paying anyone's house fee. My calculus has always been I pay house fee because I don't want to do the leg work in terms of promo and vetting that would be required if I were to go indie/FS. If these places think they're getting a dollar of my money upfront so I can sit with the 2 loneliest guys in the city for hours and *maybe* sell a VIP, they're mistaken. I'll get banned from every dating app first.

Well, I've been spying on the owner's facebook page and he is very much against the protections and even mask wearing on a personal level. He's very conservative for a strip club owner. I think he is entirely concerned about keeping the club open and keeping their liquor license. I don't understand why anyone would risk that, regardless of personal beliefs. I would feel maybe 75% safe to go in IF it were worth it financially, but it seems like my coworkers are struggling to make $100 on day shift. Maybe night shift is better, but I'm old and don't do that anymore

I completely agree. The house fee should definitely come with some benefits. How do you get banned, if you don't mind me asking? I have heard a lot of FSSWers are moving app convos to Google voice texts immediately. Maybe some broke dudes are reporting you?

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
I called a club I got hired at/worked at maybe twice Last night, just to see if they were open. To my surprise, they were. Not sure how, given all the gov restrictions, but I’m thinking of going back... maybe not yet, but sometime soon? Lol This has been an interesting read, as I can’t quite picture how the environment would be with social distancing and whatnot.. and if there are actually any customers. I know that people are getting pretty sick of COVID, but are they so sick of it that they would risk getting sick at a strip club? Lol .

I believe you are in my area still, curious which club you called? PM me if you want :)
I was also surprised when they all opened up. 4 have been shut down in total over the last couple months. The news articles are kind of vague about what exactly they considered a violation of social distancing guidelines.

Unfortunately, I moved to Michigan, and am now navigating the Detroit market lol not sure how it’s gonna work out, especially now with COVID, but willing to give it a try. Lol
[edit to add/clarify: not unfortunately in regards to moving to MI per say- it’s a beautiful state. But more so about what I’ve read about the Detroit clubs. But, you never know unless you go for yourself lol the club I went to was fine - super slow for day shift tho, and there was a schedule. I like coming and going as I please lol]
And a violation of social distancing guidelines... I seriously can’t see how social distancing and strip clubs can coexist.

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
My club has been awesome. I haven't worked & left with under $400 yet. ANd we close at 10pm due to state ordinances.
They temp check at the door and require masks except in VIP, and I frequently wash my hands & sanitize. Haven't gotten sick.
I'm only ever work & home, & my family lives a few hours away, so I'm not worried about being asymptomatic & passing it on to loved ones.
We can't do lap dances, only VIP rooms, but they added a 15 minute option. From what I've heard, some of the girls are trying to convince the managers to do away with $25 lap dances and just do time based rooms.... keep the nicer upstairs rooms for 30-60 minutes and convert the downstairs lap area into 15 minute VIP rooms. Hell I would not complain. My average has gone way up. More $$ for less time. :D

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
That's awesome! ^ They should though. Lots of clubs have increased their prices. You have less time to make money and the more expensive it is, the less guys you will encounter but you will make the same amount. Less guys but more money in the dancers pocket.

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
Tommy the Tyrant shut down the clubs in December but my main club didn't comply and stayed open. It's been fucking phenomenal. My only gripe was the gyms being shut down. More businesses should grow some balls and stay open.

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
I got my first dose of the Moderna vaccine yesterday. Going back to the clubs two weeks after my second dose, when I'm fully protected--probably 6 weeks from now.
I'm equal parts excited and nervous. I hear the money hasn't been great. But I really miss dancing.

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
Also fully vaccinated now! It's nice to be able to go back to 'normal' to some degree.
I'm really procrastinating going back to my home club even though it's closest & my license is up to date. There's no $20 dances, just rooms, so you have to really be on your game to make anything right now. The house/tipout is also sky high. I don't feel like I have it in me to deal with that + the bad blood between a couple girls & I + just in general how annoying I find most of the other girls and the customers to be.
I'm probably just burnt out of that club in particular. I seem to burn out of not dancing, but a particular club, after ~2 years. Might also just be tired of night shift.
Thinking I might stop into my secondary club. Their day shift is usually just as much $$ and with a much nicer clientele (aka nobody under 40, ha) and laidback atmosphere.
I'm not reading great things on the hobbyist sites though, it sounds like almost everywhere is doing no-contact rooms only :/

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
I got one shot so far but I have antibodies so. I returned to one of my clubs and it’s decent. They close
Early which I kind of like lol. Also only rooms which I also
Like.

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
^ I’m jealous of you guys who are working ! :/

Re: Have you been back to work since the COVID-19 reopening?
I’m excited. After a couple of weeks I’ll be somewhere other than the home club I’ve only been at for a long time. Nothing wrong with the home club, just going to enjoy being able to change things up again. And excited to not have to wear a mask. Already received the vaccine so I won’t be feeling guilty about it.

I agree. I have so many life plans to look forward to, I don't want to risk going to work at a club and getting sick. Not worth it. I let my permit die and I am not renewing it. Not only that, but I've been wanting to retire for a while now. So much negative energy at my club that it's not even fun anymore. Girls hating on me for pursuing goals while they rot in the club well into their 50s because they don't want to do much else other than drink.Focusing on my acting & writing vocation now. Too burnt out on the club to ever want to go back. It got so slow in there due to the negativity, I make more money delivering groceries than I do sitting in a boring ass club all day.
