If it’s the worlds oldest profession then it survived the Spanish Flu, another age of social distancing.

I'll have to look for it but years ago I read a great book about the hidden history of the United States that went into great detail of the lives of brothel girls and women in that era (specifically the Storyville Brothel workers of New Orleans.)
In days past of hiding family secrets, having a mother or grandmother who was a brothel worker really wasn't all that bad. They had better odds of finding a decent husband than the average sheltered woman of that era.

My biggest annoyance with that article are chics openly throwing around their damn income figures to the whole world. Um, stupid... be discreet.

I was a little surprised they didn't throw higher ones out. If you're gonna brag about how much you make being an escort, I don't think $300 is high enough (and she made it sound like that was a big increase that guys were throwing at her because of the pandemic risk).

High or low, I just don't think it's a smart idea or anyone's business. Same with other work too. So many blabber mouths out there.

Prostitution/escorting whatever you want to call it is never going away neither is any other form of sex work. As long as men have penis's and their penis gets hard for women their will always be sex work. The only thing that will kill sex work is men loosing their dick and sexual urges. That will never happen and if it did we can kiss society and humanity goodbye. Sex and men wanting it is literally a part of life.

Very true.
