in what states the clubs are open rn?
My club still did not open! And now its coming a second wave. California is crazy, I begin hating it. Since the pandemic began, I lost my job as a dancer because of this bullsh*it, I lost my apartment as well and now have to live in my friend's garage. Dont ask why I didnt find another job, I cant because of my papers.
Life sucks :'(
In what states the strip clubs are open? I feel like i'll have to go for a strip trip. The only way for me to survive..
Re: in what states the clubs are open rn?
Florida on a county by county basis, Utah, Texas.
Re: in what states the clubs are open rn?
Closed in this city.
Which is a shocker because We have a bunch of irrational people chomping at the bits to reopen business as usual
Also because of those same irrational people we have high number of cases here so reopening a strip club here is probably not the best idea
Re: in what states the clubs are open rn?
Supposedly some Miami clubs were open (without lap dances) and today they were ordered to close along with casinos, movie theaters, and bowling alleys. I had no idea any of these had reopened. A strip club I frequently drive by is advertising their food on the billboard, so I was thinking they were operating only as a restaurant. Not sure if they can even do that, anymore.

I was a healthy, in shape 39 year old with absolutely no underlying health conditions conditions-and I still almost died from Covid. The whole “only the old and sick get sick enough to require hospitalization/need ventilators/die” is no longer the case, if it ever was to begin with. Also, kids have indeed died from this virus-the youngest death so far was a one-month-old infant.

We had a ton of bars/clubs try the restaurant facade the first time. This time they wrote the order so it's based off the liquor license class. None of the clubs here that serve food have the restaurant class of license so they *should* have closed.
Re: in what states the clubs are open rn?
A few bars and restaurants actually closed themselves here before official shutdown due to staff getting sick.

Just to add, a number of members of my extended family had the virus and while most got through it unharmed, I saw a relative in his 50s (no preexisting conditions) get permanent lung damage and am aware of two distant coworkers (healthcare)who died from the virus. There is reason to take this seriously, don't be scared or paranoid but try to be prudent and don't blow off the risks.
I'm not suggesting everything should get shut down because I don't think that's a viable long term solution, I do think we need people to be much smarter when they are in public. Wear a mask when you're out, wash your hands and maintain social distancing as much as possible. The masks are a little annoying but its a really just a mild inconvenience and by doing so, we can keep the economy going.

2 male members are spreading misinformation in the other thread.
I think it helps when people post the sources of where they get their information....otherwise it’s just a guess without any supporting evidence or opinion which may or may not be accurate

I think some of the blues are pretty hardcore conservative, so I'm not surprised they're pushing the "it's not that serious, reopen the economy" narrative.
While the risk for younger people is still comparatively very low, on top of the chance of being one of the unlucky ones that gets seriously ill, it's still not fair to go spread it around so people's grandparents and parents get it.
Re: in what states the clubs are open rn?
It seems sort of random who is affected badly. I know someone with COPD and other issues who was already on a lung transplant list before they caught this coronavirus. Now they have the coronavirus but seem to be doing just fine and mainly they are isolating to not spread it and b/c they are confirmed case.
Re: in what states the clubs are open rn?
In NC, the clubs that serve food are open. Otherwise, still closed.

Re: in what states the clubs are open rn?
SoCal is closed and has no signs of reopening anytime soon. I am prepared to actually revert to a stricter lockdown within the next week, maybe two.
Re: in what states the clubs are open rn?
Columbus Gold in Columbus, Ohio is open. They have an IG with little clips of girls dancing on stage. From the audio on the clips, it sounds busy. idk for sure, but I'm guessing so, b/c their hours are open until 4am still. They have a post that says they're using "social distancing" (whatever that means? I have no clue. Maybe there's no laps? idk.). They answer the phone when you call there so if anyone was interested, they could tell you over the phone whatsup.
I'm guessing they're super busy, simply bc there is nothing else to go right now, and very few places to go. Also b/c a lot of people are drinking/partying right now since they're out of work. Then - once they get alcohol in them - they're even more likely to be willing to go hang out at a club.
Re: in what states the clubs are open rn?
Illinois, across the river from STL is open, but idk about Chicago.
Re: in what states the clubs are open rn?
All bars are mandated to close (again) in Louisiana on July 13, which includes strip clubs.
