At this point, if you go, have a healthy bank account savings, and it’s VERY recommended you drive to wherever. All over it’s a mess of places being open, then closed, then open with restriction, or even more restrictions, etc. And wherever you stay at, don’t commit to too many stays up front. It would suck to book somewhere but then not be able to work cause it’s shut down. Keep expenses down.
Some places go through booms because the locals don’t like being deprived of entertainment, but you can’t rely on it
I won’t even waste space saying what I’ve heard is open, because for all I know it’s all dated. I would just use google and see if a place is listed as open. If so—give them a phone call. Ideally do it when you’re already in that town and you’re ready to walk in. If it doesn’t work out—just repeat the process and drive a little further.
This question is something that I've been working on all day today, because I too want to travel dance. Currently I'm in Nevada, and there's nothing good even close to me.
Ive spent hours calling clubs, finding out if they're hiring or not, what licensing they require, researching flights, hotels, rental cars and more. Most clubs are not hiring out of state girls and are requiring proof of residency. Even travel friendly places like Tampa. The couple places I've found are in areas that require licensing, which is hard to get with all the covid stuff.
Like StellaRose said, things are changing fast. If I find a place today I'm pulling the trigger and leaving asap.
This is one question that is going to take diligent research.
Any clubs like even Canada ?
Heard through a friend clubs in Chicago are open.
Wrong forum
Ok, I retired 4 years ago, and recently went back, it’s been great, we should have BEEN making this kind of money
Where are you dancing right now? what city? ive called a few places in Chicago and it looks like they're taking traveling dancers.
I just looked on their site, admiral is open, Thursday - Sun 7pm -6am
There are clubs open in Georgia, Texas, and Florida right now as far as I know. Things do change often though. But even if a state or city isn't currently allowing bars to reopen a lot of strip clubs have gptten around it so double check and see if there are any clubs open in a city that you're interested in. The Google thing that has hours of clubs is totally unreliable though try to look at their instagram page to see their current status.
If some of the club's in NYC are closing permanently I will be retiring fully; and starting other type of adult / sex work for fun and extra money, maybe next year. I WOULD NEVER do adult / sex work full time (that would be a mistake) it is too demanding, unstable and isolating, without having benefits.
Entertaining USED to be so fun / money. I'm looking to hang up my heels, for good. And get away from the world.
Rural clubs in the Midwest are opening- you'd best be served by calling them directly to check about rules and hours. Given the current situation, don't go out of your way to work anywhere that you're not really wanting to go to....
In NYC a few clubs just reopened. Mainly in Manhattan (Flashdancers Ricks and Vivid at least are open I think?) and one in Queens (Show Palace). There may be more not sure, I know they are making dancers re audition so it's an opportunity (although it sucks for dancers who were hired before covid ugh)
I flew to Dallas from Las Vegas and got hired at Bucks no problem. The management there was so nice and I did pretty good even considering the expenses. I do have an airline buddy pass though so I only paid for a hotel and car rental. Avis has some pretty good first-timer deals if you haven't used them before.
I've heard babydolls in Dallas is good too.
Are you still doing well in Dallas ?
Same here, I am an East Coast Dancer and looking at where I can dance, that are implementing the safety guidelines for COVID19...
How are clubs like in Miami & Atlanta?
For anyone in NY area, I would suggest traveling to CT, less competition and I have made great money up there before. Although, I'm not sure how it is now.
Currently, I'm in Florida. It has been slowing down around holidays a lot. There's not as many customers as usual. I'm thinking after New Years it may be busier in our state with snowbirds coming back down after holidays, as well as spring training, and Superbowl. :):):)
