Florida is still wide open and will likely remain that way - updated Nov 20 2020
Florida remains wide open now and it is unlikely that it will be closing. The Governor issued a statement just a few days ago indicating that he had no intention of putting people out of work again for weeks.
Also, per an Executive Order issued last month, no FL municipality can require any business to remain closed due to COVID. So all strip clubs are now open and will likely remain so.
Also as part of the order, no local government can fine people for face mask compliance. This has effectively made local face mask ordinances unenforceable. So not only can you dance freely here in FL, but you can do so without being forced to cover your face.
I would ask that anyone who favors restrictions please refrain from turning this into another debate. This is simply an information update for dancers who are income deprived and looking for an alternative given the recent shutdowns in a number of states. Not everyone shares the views of lockdown proponents, especially those who must work to survive.
We are already seeing new facing in my local clubs in NE FL and I'm sure it's happening in other parts of the state as well.
Re: Florida is still wide open and will likely remain that way - updated Nov 20 2020
It seems that Los Angeles may be having a curfew from 10pm to 6am as soon as Sunday since the cases are increasing so much.
Re: Florida is still wide open and will likely remain that way - updated Nov 20 2020
^ Just to add, Miami has a midnight curfew that looks like it will hold up and rumor has it that Tampa is considering the same. I'm sure that Miami would do more if they thought that they could get away with it, but they probably can't. Otherwise FL is pretty wide open.

Well, where I am (IL) just went in Stage 3 Lockdown..
New facing?

Yeah, you clearly don't give a flying fuck about anyone's safety. How the fuck you're still on this forum posting reckless shit... I don't fucking know.

V, this may come as a shock to you, but not everyone agrees with your view of the risks. This includes many dancers who don't have the luxury of sitting out of the clubs for 9 months without suffering financially and emotionally. Grown adults can research the numbers and make their own informed decisions. Many dancers feel far more threatened from a significant loss of income than they do from COVID and there is a great deal of information out there now which supports that position.
This is stripperweb, not I_am_too_afraid_to_be_a_stripper_and_you_should_be _too-web. If the clubs in FL, GA, TX and many other places are any indications, there are lots of girls out there who still want to work as...well...strippers and who don't share your views. Hence the reason why I didn't want this to turn into a COVID debate.

Cause sociopaths don’t gaf
N as to why it’s still on the forums.....it’s clear that when it couldn’t get its way in a previous thread; it started this similar thread for clout chasing, desperate attention seeking, z level entertainment, and views, etc
It’s probably in the basement orgasming from all the responses

In case you missed it, this is an Industry Insight thread, not an ideal place for your normally goofy trolling. Disagree with and dislike me all you want, but perhaps you should save the snarky stuff for the Lounge and Customer Conversation.
This rather odd notion held by some on here that they have the answer regarding how everyone else should be managing their COVID risks is both stunningly arrogant and divorced from other real world concerns. Yet a few angry scared (maybe ex) industry workers who have other income streams, along with a couple of dudes who I'm not sure even patronize clubs and a troll or two, feel entitled to impose their worldview on a board that is supposed to support active dancers.
This is not a political or policy thread, but rather a simple information posting for those dancers who might actually find it useful. As we can see from the mixed reactions in these threads, there are dancers who clearly appreciate the information, even if they stay silent to avoid getting drawn into the melodramatic nonsense.

Dude, I think some people are upset by the blues that have been starting fight after needless fight. In particular, you RD, are on some covid doesn't exist typical FL mentality kick and for some people, it's VERY real as they even had loved ones die. Also, how dare you say ACTIVE dancers as if some of us have a choice in our club closures? Also, this site is for everyone who works in the sex industry, not only STRIPPER (active or otherwise). What this site is NOT for is "customers" and I use that term loosely, to troll. Just saying.
Ladies who NEED to work in a club and are ok with the risks should. In addition to FL, Texas and the midwest is still open however most of us already know that.

It's the part where you mention about face coverings as if you support that idea/promoting it. That reckless part right there wasn't needed, just bc YOU DON'T WANT TO COVER YOUR FUCKING PIE HOLE. If you're on SW, it's bc you're a supporter of strippers... You're the complete opposite of that.
Yeah, we know FL isn't strict about face coverings. Guess what? Strippers are still dancing with face masks ON just fine. You made this sound like a stripper covering her face is going to kill her chances of making money. Which again, not true. Safety first.

Ariel, the fact that I sometimes mix it up a bit with a couple of blues and one or two trollish "pinks" in CC and the Lounge has nothing whatsoever to do with a thread like this. When I post in Industry Insight, Life Support, Dollar Den and Other Work, which I do only selectively, it is to share intel or perspectives and you'd be hard pressed to find me as anything but respectful.
If every girl knew what was happening all around the country we'd be getting far less inquiries on a customer site on which I also post. Sadly active dancers are probably benefitting more from that site right now than this one - their own support site - because a small number of people of dubious industry participation have decided to post copious hyperventilating COVID risk comments every time the topic comes up. One girl in Other Work even felt the need to express embarrassment about the fact that she was still escorting to pay her bills and feed herself, ridiculous as that is given her low risk status, because of the negative comments from part-timers and ex industry workers who don't need the income as much as she does.
So as I said to Miss, agree with me or not, but IMHO you'd all be doing active participants a great service by not turning every thread that discussed working during COVID into a melodramatic train wreck.

Actually V I'm increasingly believing that I'm one of the few people around here actually advocating for strippers to still be able to pay their bills using their chosen profession. One does not "support" strippers by posting hyperventilating comments about how unsafe it is to work to feed yourself right now, which sadly is common with the few other blues around here and not a small number of pinks.
I was passing along the face covering intel solely for information purposes, which cuts both ways. I hope that girls who are not ok with that use the information just as much as those who are. Maybe the lack of widespread face mask use here in FL clubs will dissuade some girls from dancing here - all power to them. And if a girl decides to wear one in a FL club even if others are not then all power to her too.

Mentioning face masks is irrelevant and not necessary. Just stop and move the fuck on.

V, once again not everyone agrees with you - some find the face mask situation in any given club to be very important. In fact given your angry face mask post a moment ago, you don't agree with you. Sorry V, but you don't get to censor what information is shared with the group.

And once again you are just some dude, with literally only care for your dick and whatever industry you are in that probably profits off of not wearing masks or preventing lockdowns. We just know you like to go to strip clubs. This is not a one to one in the industry or it’s insights, you are a customer. That is it. Stop talking to us like we are children, you are the one needlessly picking on what information is out.

They are requiring masks while walking around the main party street down here, and a guy was recently arrested for refusing to comply. You can also get a 500$ ticket. Also, there is going to be a curfew from 10 PM NYE until morning, for three days. So no.
I'm closing the thread while I decide what to do with all the reports. Rick, you have to remember this is a site for the dancers. It's not for you or I to decide policy. I do decide when to enforce it, though, and there's a lot of people who'd rather I was more draconian about it. You are skating on very thin ice here. Nothing personal.
