Getting BA in a month, how did you quit smoking/drinking??
I want my post-op to go as smoothly as it can in terms of healing but I need to quit smoking/vaping AND drinking!!! I'm a recovering addict and although I've stopped the hard stuff for years I still smoke cigarettes (maybe 1 1/2 a day) and vape when I'm inside. I also drink like 2-3 beers a night. They say nicotine and alcohol makes you bleed more so I gotta stop so I'm not bleeding everywhere when they do surgery and after when it's healing. I'm trying so hard to quit everything but it's so hard having past addiction, idk what to do! How did you stop or did you not and healed fine after breast augmentation? Let me know, love you all :heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat

Yeah, you absolutely need to quit smoking. Maybe try the patch? ANd drinking you have to stop at least two weeks before as it makes you bleed and bruise like crazy. I would say talk to your surgeon, he can prescribe a pill that makes you HATE even the smell of alcohol. Good luck!
