Just watched "The Invisible Man" 2020 with Elizabeth Moss
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't remotely like H.G. Wells book. I just don't think they should have called it "The Invisible Man," since it doesn't follow Wells' storyline at all. It's a good movie, though. I liked the use of paranoia, anxiety and essentially gaslighting. (You'll understand, should you ever watch it)
In H.G. Wells' novel, (I would normally never do this, but it's unlikely you will ever read the novel) the guy drinks a potion, becomes invisible, and then can never be visible again. This causes some issues because he slowly goes crazy and becomes a murderer because he can get away with pretty much anything. That's not what happens in this movie (I won't tell you what) Women will probably like this movie, as a Guy, I did. It's a very "Me Too" movie.
All in all, I liked the flick, I just don't think it should have been called The Invisible Man. It's nothing like the original story. It's a totally original story. And that's OK, but it's not the Invisible Man unless you do it from Wells. In all of the adaptions, that's never been done.

It's a kinda story about an abusive relationship, essentially. It gets pretty intense, and you really root for Elizabeth Moss's character. I did.

Snuff, that girl goes through hell in this film, HELL. But when she finally takes back her power, you pump your fist in the air.

I might catch it. Seemed like a rough movie to watch, but it's an interesting idea they put on film.

Yeah, it's kind of a tough watch, but it's a good movie. Very "Me Too". She's actually a pretty powerful Woman, but she needs to find it, at first she's kind of a milquetoast. Pretty timid, you know? That doesn't last.
