Any guys on this site think it's stupid/pointless? Or what would you like to receive as a guy? I have 3 days to figure out what to buy or to go through amazon.com for something else.

I wouldn't mind it. They'd go right on my kitchen table in a vase.
Really it's the thought that counts.
Probably depends on the guy.
Some guys wouldn’t mind it while some guys might consider it a more feminine type gift that most women would like.
If you do go to a florist and ask them for a floral arrangement for a guy
If you don’t know what to get him just give a Visa or MC gift card or a gift card to some major store like Amazon, Target, Walmart so they can buy what they want.
Yeah, I'm not huge on gift cards. I consider it lazy and like you don't even know me. I never give gift cards, I always try to get creative with my gifts. For instance, I got one girl a Japanese tea set once. She was over the MOON about it.
Yeah I was looking at the male flowers and thinking "is this stupid?" LOL

I wonder if I should buy from the business section instead so it doesn't look like I've lost my mind buying dog flowers lol?
Eh! I’d rather receive a gift card I can actually use to get what I want rather than some random ass gift I don’t want, can’t use, n will have to give to goodwill or something
Gift card is the equivalent of cash IMO. N I don’t care if it took them 2 minutes to email it to me as long as they were generous enough to split their coins to gift me is more than enough.
True - a gift card giver probably doesn’t know you well or know what you want - so rather than rack their brain on some gift you probably don’t want/don’t like they’d rather give the give of money and choice to the recipient.
If a person wants an actual gift from me they better email me a wish list of items with a variety of prices.
People are busy with work and families and don’t always have time to be out hunting n spending hours creating the ideal gift for someone who ain’t immediate family or immediately dying.
Besides, me personally, I don’t want to play guessing games, spend my hard earned money on something they’ll throw away, or have the recipient feeling disappointed that I didn’t guess correctly.
Different strokes for different folks I suppose!
^also im not negating creative gifts. IF it’s something that the recipient will get pleasure out of.
But quick n easy cash (items of cash value like stocks, etc) and/or gift card can be just a valuable as well.....especially if it’s more likely your creative gift is going straight to dumpster #3
Maybe some kind of living plant, like a cactus.
Some guys don't want something to take care of. He barely could handle feeding the cat haha. Is this decent? I dunno? I was looking into those edible arrangements but I don't want something I paid for thrown in the trash.
Update: *Ugh got off the phone with a florist and they recommended sending a plant to a man. I dunno what to buy now.
Well it would be ..... if you know that he likes fruit and doesn’t have any allergies to chocolate or strawberries or something
The edible arrangements I’ve seen are made of fruit n some of them have chocolate. Are they made of other ingredients?
If you do go with a plant. Bamboo is very low maintenance (minimal water and sun). I had a money tree that lasted years. I got of those water globes that took the work out of watering it.
I was just about to suggest it, but didnot know how's it called. Edible arrangement! It is awesome idea. I 'd make it as a gift for a guy, too. It looks beautiful like flowers but also practical since you can eat it! At least flowers have more chances to go in the trash. Well, eventually they go there, that's why I don't like when guys give them to me;( But who the hell will throw food in the trash?
Thank you guys for the help! I ended up going with a $100 gift certificate to the place below. I just hate spending money and someone not liking the gift. I'm so bad at spending money on men gifts. Men are hard to buy for and I don't want it thrown out.

^^^^oooh that place looks delicious!
Defined need food to survive and some high quality food.....seems like a good pick
I had one girl get me a little Geisha statue. It's about 10" tall. To this day it's still sitting in my display, and I have a whole arrangement that it is the centerpiece of (Though my mom has co-opted most of it). I thought it was kinda cool. She got it from a place called Pier One Imports, and she's kinda like me with gifts. Creative, y'know?
It's cool to get creative gifts, I agree. It s also great to make them. But sometimes you meet a person, he/ she gives you some remarkable gift, and if your relationships get shitty and you stop meeting etc, you don't know what to do with that damn gift! Kind of...it is really nice gift..but on other hand it makes you think of someone you don't like anymore. It s hard to throw away such things. But this case is not common I guess.
I guess that's fair enough, but I personally don't have any exes that I just don't like anymore. And i mean *like* not love. You know what I mean. And i also agree that making them is a serious plus.
Oh, and if that's the case, fuck 'em, keep the gift. It's yours now.
I really like your easy attitude about it :) I keep unique gifts from people I lost contact with, which used to be more like 'neutral friends' to me.(damn I rank friends lol) But I threw away a nice doll just because a person who gave it turned out to be a goddamn manipulative fucktard, so I did not want anything related to this all around me. And I don't regret it. But it's all personal I guess. Personalized gift feels like a bond to me, a true sign of attention, magical, if you let me say so. I love making them, but wish I had more people I could give them to.
