Money management is not easy but best way I found is to create different accounts and put money in each one, not have it all going into one! Money seems to just go if it’s in a current account so I move money around a lot.
As for investments , cos not sure if you mean that or how to save ... property is a great return on money, especially if you buy a dump and flip it then rent out rooms which is what I do, Bitcoin was good, I made quite a chunk on it but it’s not really safe.... spread money around get it to work for you x

I got myself debt-free in August 2020. It was knowing I had too much debt and it was causing my stress then I saw a bankruptcy trustee to work out my best option. it was filing a consumer proposal. I paid that off in 9 months. then after that I started building my emergency fund and now I am investing for the future.
The biggest fail is thinking I could make the payments no I can not, I need to make sure I budget the money of dollars that are actually in my bank account and not think I can work a week and earn it.
So now I budget monthly on my youtube channel, I make sure I am saving, investing, and spending on my basic living expenses. I am no in a rush to rebuild my credit. but I will probably keep my credit card in the freezer and use cash.

Selling courses is what makes them a millionaire.

They are provide free product instead of selling course.

Re: what's your ways to save more?
IMHO the easiest ways to save more are to work as much as you can (whether in adult entertainment, vanilla or both) and to avoid "hamster wheels" that make other people rich instead of you.
Hamster wheels include (but are definitely not limited to):
- Credit card debt (worst hamster wheel ever)
- Buying/renting more house than you need
- Buying more car than you need
- Taking on other big ticket debt purchases like furniture, jewelry, etc.
- Falling into expensive habits (whatever those might be)
If you are already on a hamster wheel, IMHO you should do whatever you can as aggressively as possible to get off that wheel. If it is some type of debt, there are an infinite number of ways to negotiate your way to a more manageable place.
I admit that I was once as guilty as anyone of getting on hamster wheels and staying on them for a long time. It took me many years to finally develop the discipline to stay off of them, after which I worked on building my credit responsibly. Today I am debt free except for very manageable mortgage and car payments (zero % interest on one car with the other car paid off) and my credit is very good. But before I could even think about improving my credit, I had to first get off the hamster wheels and then learn to stay off of them.

I agree with mostly all of the above but with the exception of buying more property than you need. These are amazing investments, if you buy at the right price . The other thing is when you start making really good bank money, live like you did before , don’t expand your lifestyle is what I mean. Cars , and flashy stuff are the road to no where x

I completely agree that a property can be a wonderful investment, but the hamster wheel part comes in when they buy more than they can easily afford. A cheaper house will rise in value too without becoming an unmanageable burden.
When one takes on a large mortgage payment, one misstep can turn that investment into a huge liability and credit killer. A lot of people were reminded of that during the last recession, when millions lost their home in foreclosures and forced short sales. I suspect we'll be seeing that lesson play out again soon enough once the foreclosure moratorium is finally lifted.

Agreed, I always buy dumps , old houses and do them up. You make more this way. Problem comes when people get flashy and buy a wonderful 5 bed new build, you are paying the developers costs , you could end up in negative equity . I have money every where, spread it around too... no credit cards, no over drafts those are massive hamster wheels . Over pay on mortgages too, this is how I could afford to buy more property x

I’ll also add this ... the allure of the flashy lifestyle is hard when you earn amazing money and I viewed so many gorgeous apartments and houses I could have bought but it just felt fake to me, I don’t know that’s just me, I came from nothing so over spending on property was a huge no no. I also drive a cheap crappy car too x

Re: what's your ways to save more?
The advice above is good about houses and cars. Live within, or beneth your means. After 2008's debacle, BF and I did a lot of that. Save/invest first, then spend the rest. So, of my monthly draw, I first put into my 401(k), then I put money into my investment accont. I have given up on individual stocks, I just don't have enough time to folow companies and do it right. I just buy into an S&P 500 ETF. (I'm not an investment advisor, so I won't say which ETF. I'm just following Warren Buffet's advice and buying good American companies and letting them grow my investment funds for me.) I put money into my daughter's 529 fund, so we have some money saved up for college. No early payoff of the house as that would simply rob us of cash flow that could better be invested in the market rather than paying off 2.8% mortgage debt. All our investments amount to about 25% of our after tax income.
After saving and investing, we put some money aside in our emergency fund. The aim is to have six months of expenses in that fund. The rest, we spend or set aside for luxuries. Even with that strategy, we ended last year with lots of money in the joint checking account, as we did the year before. I looked at last year's expenditures. We ended up spending about 50% of our after tax income. We saved or invested the rest. Although, we do use some of that savings from past years for luxuries this year.

Index funds are a good way to get into stocks without having a lot of knowledge about them, and without having to invest a lot of money. They also have the lowest fees.

Re: what's your ways to save more?
The biggest difference between ETFs and index funds is that ETFs can be traded throughout the day like stocks, whereas index funds can be bought and sold only for the price set at the end of the trading day. Not a huge difference, but sometimes significant. The biggest bennefit I see from ETFs is they have really low expense ratios. And, that puts more money in your pocket.

Re: what's your ways to save more?
For me personally I flat out refuse to buy or have payments on a new car. I got lucky with mine I have had for the last 15 years that my mom bought me. Its paid off and Ive put a good chunk of money into it over the years due to me driving across the country so much but it's worth it.
I also dont buy stuff anymore like I use to bc I'm more of a minimalist now which saves me $$$. If I do buy makeup or whatever I always try to get it on sale if possible. I also refuse to own a home. Who needs the hassle & the unwanted stress of having roots in one place forever?.

I'm always in a struggle between wanting to have a home and the advantages and temptations of not having it. It fucks up my goals a bit:(
