Yep, but I can do neither. That is YOUR privilege, not ours.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say any partner who doesn’t do things like that, regardless of whether they carry the child or not is a shitty parent.

I have. Twice. Well, not just TWICE, but with two different kids. No concern of mine, It's MY kid. My Daughter is not my natural daughter, but I accepted her as such. I have a responsibility, same as my Wife does.
I forget how old i was, but early 20's. I was pushing my baby son around the mall, it was winter. I tried to leave and some black guy was like "Hey man, cover dat baby's head!" I didn't know I was supposed to do that. You live, you learn. I can tell you this, it never happened again!
Re: Men: Would You Do This?
I was one of the Fathers that was all up in arms about there not being Diaper changing stations in the Men's room! Thankfully that's now changed. I had to ask women to stand guard for me when I went into the Ladies room to change my kid's fucking DIAPER! What, they think Fathers don't take care of their Kids?
Re: Men: Would You Do This?
BF was a very willing diaper bag carrier, diaper changer and stroller pusher. His employer gave him twelve weeks of paternity leave, which he took to stay at home with daughter after my maternity leave was over. He did all the over night diaper changes since I was breast feeding. In all honesty, breast feeding made my boobs grow, and that was definitely something BF appreciated. To this day, daughter and BF have a great relationship. At times, I am envious.

Re: Men: Would You Do This?
Absolutely would not.....was there for birth of my son, I couldn’t take the pain. Never understood my wife wanting to do It a second time!
Re: Men: Would You Do This?
If men carried babies the artificial womb would have been invented yesterday lol.
Re: Men: Would You Do This?
I know a woman with the bumper sticker "I make milk, what is your superpower?!"
Re: Men: Would You Do This?
I dont recommend women getting pregnant. They must Really, Really want to change their life and body to do so.
Re: Men: Would You Do This?
Love the thought of having a baby, not so much the role that comes from having one. Also laugh when hearing childless men say "Its not that bad, I don't mind having a baby and can afford it! My Mom will help out! I would totally do my part with the baby!" Every time I hear this and they end up having a baby, the complete opposite always happens. (Not saying there are no responsible men in the world) However if I were to imagine the roles in reverse, it would be like my friend who gave birth years back, walked in on her crying with the newborn suckling, diapers, pumps, clothes, ect everywhere. Husband? (Wife) No where to be found.. :P
Re: Men: Would You Do This?
I was cool with it. I had a lot to learn though, with the first one. One thing I have to say about myself, despite all the rest, is that I do not shirk my responsibilities. I've always done everything I could think of to protect my kids, that includes poopy diapers, cold outside, or weird shit they put in their mouths. It's all relative. I have one natural Son and one adopted Daughter and i love both of them.
Re: Men: Would You Do This?
All I know is that I'm not laying my kid on that nasty ass bathroom floor, blanket or no, and I'm not letting them sit in their own shit. I'll go over and swipe stuff off the store shelves and change them THERE in front of God and everybody! I'll go into the ladies room and do it on the changing station. Luckily most of the Women were cool with it. Changing a diaper doesn't take long, and I wasn't in there being a perv. Most of the Women didn't even know there wasn't a changing station in the Men's room. Which I find absolutely ridiculous, where am I supposed to change this kid?
