I was just reminiscing about the not so long ago past, circa the year 2000 when a company in Florida equipped a home with 34 web cams in a house occupied by 5 women. For $34 per month subscribers could watch their activities. Court cases involving zoning, saying it was not allowed on a residential neighborhood ensued. Some of the links are below.
How backward that all seems now in light of cam sites, particularly so with the almost universal ability to hide or block location. We owe a boatload of thanks to those early pioneers!
