I've gotten pretty backed up before, to the point where I was trying salad, tons of water, and nothing was helping. I ate some bran muffins thinking that might help, and I had a huge explosive poop...in the bathtub of all places. And then it was just like I had cleared out my intestines for the rest of the month. Anyway, I had to clear that mess out of the tub, only to turn around and poop again. Tried to go back in the tub and yep, more came out!
So I would try to use a simple, OTC stool softener or start drinking coffee if you aren't against it!
