Diamond Cabaret Denver CR/VIP Room
Hello madames,
I'm fairly new to clubbing and I've begun frequenting the Diamond Cabaret in Denver, CO. I met a dancer I like there, and on my next visit, I'm considering taking her up for an hour or more in the CR... or VIP Room... or whatever it's called. Just had a couple questions for you gals that are dancing or have danced at the DC relatively recently (I've used the search function, but all the info I can get seems to be quite dated):
1.) What exactly does the CR entail? I'm not talking about extras, sex, etc. -- I'm not interested in any of that and I don't expect it. I legitmately want to know how it works. Essentially, are you just renting out a room to drink champagne and get private dances and enjoy the company of thine fair lady? On that note;
2.) What are the cost for dances in the CR? Do we still count songs? Generally, what is the expected tip (percentage wise) for an hour, let's say? I imagine the dancer gets taken off the rotation, right?
3.) How much goes to the house? I ask this because I want to make sure my gal gets paid ::)
I have money to spend, I'm just trying to get an idea of the cost. I suppose I could just ask my lady the next time I see her, but I'd like to "surprise" her ;D I spent $325 for 30mins with her the last time in a VIP booth, but I guess that's a lot different from the CR. Still not clear on the diferences between VIP/CR, so any insight on this (particularly in the DC Denver) would be much appreciated! Thanks!
Re: Diamond Cabaret Denver CR/VIP Room
Why dont you just call the club and ask?

Because I would like a dancer's perspective and her prospective prices. Not the club's. Dancer is the operative word here.

Cutiecam is a female member. Hers is the perspective you were looking for.

Um, no, it's not. You would know that if you actually read my entire post instead of being smart ass. Look, if you're not going to be helpful, please don't respond. Troia.
Re: Diamond Cabaret Denver CR/VIP Room
we can't really give you an answer because every dancer does things differently in VIP. only thing you can know for sure without asking her, is the price.
and even that- the club might not be able to tell you. at a lot of clubs charge a "room fee" that goes to them so they will just give you that lower number to get you in. but that's just for the room and then the dancer sets her own price for her time which goes to her. idk. at other places it's a set number + tip. you're really not going to get any solid answers unless you talk to her.

Actually I did read your entire post, as well as the one where you responded to her sensible suggestion with an attitude...what you're looking for here is free emotional/mental labor, and that's not how it works.
If you want to surprise the girl you liked, fold a dozen $100 bills into the shape of roses and present her with a bouquet on top of whatever the room costs.
Re: Diamond Cabaret Denver CR/VIP Room
I recommend going to the customer site TUSCL and sending a PM to a user named ‘desertscrub’ He loves the clubs in Colorado and will be happy to find out for you.

First glance at this and my gut tells me you fall into the category of Champagne rooms being outside your budget, stick to your 30 min rides in the booths.
You do ask odd questions though for someone being new to the clubs.
If you have enough money, as you say, why do you care what you spend or what cuts are? You are going to spend time with her in a Champagne Room, then you pay what she tells you, period end of story, as she wont tell you a price that doesnt get her paid.
only customers who are watching every penny worry about club% and song counting

Yeah, I think I'm just gonna have to ask her straight up how much the house gets. Thanks for being civil.

My gut tells me you suck with money and probably have a fair share of financial woes in your life. I feel bad for you.

Gentlemen, please.
Re: Diamond Cabaret Denver CR/VIP Room
The reason why I said to call the club, is because the prices of rooms, vip areas, champagne rooms, house fees, tip outs to djs, managers, bouncers etc are all different club to club. Even within the same club, prices can easily change depending on the time of day. Her cut varies. There is no simple answer to your question except to call the club or actually ask her. You didn't want to ask her cause you wanted to surprise her. So I gave you the best answer there is. Call the club.
You were seeking a dancers opinion and you got it. Instead of being fucking greatful for my time and knowledge, you turned into a snarky asshole. You really need to check your attitude around here.

Re: Diamond Cabaret Denver CR/VIP Room
This thread got a little weird. OP, i do understand that you want to surprise your favorite dancer, so you're avoiding asking her outright. My honest advice is to just commit to the experience - if you don't enjoy yourself, never buy it again. Keep your expectations reasonable and just go with the flow. If she doesn't like the idea or has some other issue with the CR, such as a cut issue, she'll probably let you know.
Psychologically, you'll have the most fun if you commit to buying a CR *once* to experience it (otherwise, you'll always wonder if you missed out), enjoy whatever the experience has to offer, keep your expectations modest, and be delighted by whatever happens. You're only committing to the one-time experience... you don't have to keep buying it.
If you're a bit worried that she might not even like the idea, then you could try saying something like, "[dancer's name], i want to spoil you tonight... I've got $xxx to spend on time with you this evening, and i want to go wherever you think we'll have the most fun together... what do you think we should do?" If she says she just wants to do regular dances, you can gently pry and ask if the CR isn't as fun as you've heard, or whatever.
And remember to cushion your budget with a potential expected tipout, just in case it comes up.
