Are there specific outfits that make you interested (in buying dances)?
I’m a clubber in mostly low end clubs, and the clubs I patronize are bikini clubs. I would enjoy more creative dancer outfits. I find some outfits to be very sexy, naughty, taboo.
My favorite outfits are the naughty schoolgirl, sexy nurse, nun, goth, and a BD/SM look. I saw one dancers photos dressed as a sexy unicorn - and she looked great!
Do you find any looks that might get you to buy dances?

I do like the sexy unicorn yes

It’s a sexy look. It makes us customers feel even more special - as someone can say they found a stripping unicorn!

I've seen some interesting ones over the years. Honestly there isn't an outfit that compares to no outfit.

A few weeks ago I went and saw a male revue performance. They had a bunch of costumes. The fireman seemed the most popular in the room. Same with the military uniform. xD

I know some folks enjoy nude clubs, and that’s cool. In a private setting, I enjoy the no outfit look too.

I can see how both uniforms would be very popular (on a sexy guy). That’s a very good point.

I'm like you Cashman, I love erotic/fetish outfits, like, fishnet tights or fishnet thigh highs, garters, thigh high boots, strappy/BDSM lingerie and harnesses, latex outfits, dominatrix or slave costumes, etc. It's hard to believe that their are no strip clubs that cater to this. I would spend a lot more money in a fetish-themed strip club. Maybe those clothes are not comfortable to dance with. I've seen outfits like that at Erotic Balls, but, the people there performers or guests, not strippers.

Re: Are there specific outfits that make you interested (in buying dances)?
Definitely a schoolgirl outfit is something that I'm inclined to get a private dance. Usually have to also meet certain face and body type factors as well, but knee-high socks, a plaid skirt and pigtails or braids seals the deal.

^ that's interesting about the hair preference! I'm not sure if i ever wore my hair up or in a restricted style while dancing. I love the look of messy buns, high ponytails, rope braids, and pigtails on women, but you almost never see those styles in clubs, IME.

Re: Are there specific outfits that make you interested (in buying dances)?
I agree, that as I've watched dancers on the stage there perhaps is a great visual effect to the hair down because of the wind expanding the frame of the face and also drawing in customers, and the loose bun, or pinned hair seems to make the dancer more approachable. I'd like to offer that the female neck, shoulder, as well as clavicle are areas that can be displayed to create attraction as well as the subliminal message that you're open to approach. Having those areas exposed on the floor while hustling could increase the approach of interested customers. Perhaps sweeping the hair off the neck while making eye contact.

Re: catering to it/more money: In the club those really don't tend to be money-makers. Tempest on here said something once about being an edgy 'baby stripper' and stubbornly wearing her black lipstick and goth-y outfits until she accepted that a more generic look was much better financially.
My preferred outfit is black bra + black thigh highs & garter belt + some kind of jacket/coat/cardigan to keep me warm. The latter rotates between a few black items and a maroon & black velvet Hugh Hefner-style blazer.
That outfit, coupled with my existing Resting Bitch Face and a couple of larger tattoos, seems to be 'dark' enough to scare off certain guys and women don't seem to like it a lot either :/
It's fine on weekdays when I'm relying mostly on talking to guys and actual salesmanship, and can talk my way out of any initial 'unapproachable' impressions it may have created.
It is definitively not fine on weekends when the hustle is quick and very first-impressions based. I can't tell you how many times I've made jack shit on stage, changed into a super tacky silver rhinestone disco ball top and ditched the stockings for my next set, then had my rail swarmed by tippers and also had the existing women start tipping better. Generic Barbie is almost always the more profitable look.
Re: being uncomfortable - yeah, some of the strappy outfits are no bueno. I tried a corset once or twice, one that was relatively simple (in corset terms at least) to get in and out of. Still a pain in the ass and sucked up a lot of time with putting it back on.
Fishnets - there's a nude club here that does "bush dives" at the rail... A dancer was wearing fishnets... The guy had an eyebrow piercing... you do the math ;) That horror story aside, they get caught on guys' zippers and buttons, I have gotten my own damn heels caught in the other leg's fishnets, etc.

The schoolgirl look is something I'm divided on and haven't worn in a few years because of that divide.
If I leave off the full-face of makeup, I can pass for a high schooler. I have a little plaid skirt and used to tie up a cardigan over a push-up bra, usually with socks... It's basically the Britney Spears "Oops I Did It Again" video except in black and red.
On one hand, that setup was an easy money-maker sometimes. Lots of dances just because of the character I was playing.
On the other hand, it attracted some real creeps. They'd assume it wasn't just an outfit, that I was truly like, 19 years old and naive. I got so many boundary-pushing assholes. I also got a couple where they told me some really GROSS stuff, where I legit wanted to call the police and tell them to keep an eye on the guy's underage female relatives :O
The skirt (any skirt, not even just that outfit honestly) made it worse too. In the levels of VIP that I allowed ass touching, they'd instead try to touch vag much more aggressively and it became "Well you're wearing the skirt, the bouncers can't even see".
I literally had to decide if I mentally felt up to the kind of customers that outfit could attract. Sometimes it just wasn't worth any of the easy money it also brought.

Re: Are there specific outfits that make you interested (in buying dances)?
Wow I didn't consider that the outfit would engender inconsiderate behavior. The extra money would not be worth sacrificing comfort, and self esteem if you're constantly being approached by that type of energy. Thanks for sharing, it definitely is an eye opener. I wish I could apologize for that happening to any adult worker, but there is no excuse for treating someone that way especially if they really believed them to be just of age and naive.

That’s frightening! I think role play (with costumes) can be fun - and enhance a sexual experience. But, when a simple dancer outfit inspires true pedo type comments and behaviors - that’s awful.
I’m glad you posted this reply, as I learned more about how a costume can attract real creeps. That wasn’t something I had thought about, and I now see it in a different light. Thank you.

I agree with this for the most part, but there was one girl some years back who I saw wearing a string bikini that showed most everything except for the tiniest areas on the naughty bits that I found unbelievably sexy. Of course she had the body to pull it off, so there is that.
As far as school girl outfits, I never found them to be especially sexy even before I was a Dad, but now that I am I find them disturbing.

I understand the point you make regarding school girl outfits. That’s a valid point and I respect your view.
The dancers who catch my eye are in their 30’s, and seeing them in a school girl outfit is simply a filthy fantasy. The look is more role play - and they would not be confused with an actual school girl.

I hope I didn't ruin something for either of you guys! I think that outfit being a fetish is ok if it's borne out of something like, having gone to a school with uniforms... Like, a leftover teenage fantasy sort of deal... I can also see a girl who didn't want to be in Catholic school thinking it's hot to basically give the middle finger to the school/church by making the outfit sexual.
If it's that you're legit attracted to 13 year olds, that is a whole separate not ok animal :O
Also, this specific outfit aside, LOTS of men forget that we are often playing characters in the club... If not an entirely separate persona, at least a very exaggerated version of only certain aspects of our personalities. This is where we end up with obsessed customers and those who push boundaries.
They think you're telling them the entire truth and that Selina is real --> you're not just playing up what they want to hear to make their club experience fun, no, they think you're their soulmate and they're in love with you.
They think you're a stripper so ergo must be hypersexual and doing this because you get something out of it besides money --> you're not telling them 'no' because you don't want to be touched, it's just those pesky club rules so let's move where the camera can't see.

I’m sure the fantasy surrounding the school girl costume is something associated with a Catholic upbringing and Catholic school. It’s a fun adult fantasy - and that’s all it is for me.
I learned something from reading your previous post, and I thank you for drawing my attention to the fact that some folks have an unhealthy view of a school girl costume.
You are correct - some folks can’t separate fact from fiction - and that can be dangerous (or unhealthy). In a strip club, it’s very important for the customer to understand - it’s different from the outside world.

If only there were a cosplay strip club - come on NYC or Tokyo, do your innovative thing and make this happen!
