How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
I recently had a private dance and was wondering if the stripper was genuine or if she was just trying to get me to spend more money on private dances.
For Context:
I’ve been to strip clubs a couple of times, for special events and friends birthdays, so I have a little bit of experience with strippers.
In my country a private lap dance involves the dancer to be fully nude and you are allowed to touch them everywhere except the asshole or pussy.
I paid for a basic 10 minute private dance.
it would take too long to describe the entire lap dance word for word, but I have some key points that I would like to have help with to be explained.
1. She said she liked the way I was touching her. She said she didn’t like it when men would just sit there like a statue not knowing what to do with their hands.
2. She was quite enthusiastic about how soft my hands were and was really into touching them.
3. She hugged me after the dance was over. This is the first time a stripper has hugged me after a dance.
The first two points I understand could just be her trying to make me feel good, just doing her job.
but I was abit confused about the hug. As far as I know, strippers don’t really hug customers. Did the hug mean she really enjoyed my company or was it a thank you for not being a lousy customer.
basically I was just wondering what the hug could mean and if this hinted that she wouldn’t mind going on a date or getting to know eachother outside of the strip club.
Sorry if any of this post seems cringey, I just genuinely enjoyed her company and she seemed like the type of person who I’d get along with.
Thanks,

No, the stripper doesn't genuinely like you. If you have a shadow of a doubt, recommend hanging out with her for free. If she says no or comes up with an excuse "oh I have to take care of my grandma" "oh I would love to but I need to pay rent, will you help me?" Or "I would love to, but I need to get to know you here first. I've met guys too soon and I've been burnt before" or "I can't it's labor day, I have to brush my hair, the tooth fairy is coming I cant" lol whatever the excuse, you know its fake. Strippers are professional liars who know how to convince you the interaction is from the heart.
Re: How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
^^I mean ... that's all true per se, but rather than professional liars (lawyers) they are more like fantasy guides. But the bottom line is that, yes, she had a good time ... if you tipped generously. It is a job for her, nothing more. HOWEVER you can see that some, and I mean some, dancers do become actual friends with long time regulars.
So like if you've ever had a job as a waiter or something like that (I did in college) you know you say "I had a really good night" if you made great money and no one was a huge asshole.
If you were respectful, tipped well, and didn't press things, then you probably have the status "potential good customer".
Re: How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
She did.
Go back and give her more money.
Re: How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
Dancers provide entertainment and fantasy. The question to ask should only be - How did she make ME feel?
If she gave me lap dances that took my breath away, and, if she made me feel like I am a stud and she wants me, then, she's done a great job and deserves my money and repeat business. The truth is irrelevant. I walk into a strip club to escape truth.
Take the fantasy. Take the illusion. Escape from reality.
If you need to be genuinely liked, go visit your mom or buy a dog. No one likes you like your mom and your dog.
GFs and wives love you one-third of the time and they hate you one-third of the time. They just tolerate you the other one-third of the time. This is reality. You escape reality by going to the club where you are always a super cool dude and an adorable stud.

Very well said. This might sound harsh, but it’s the truth.

If your wallet was empty when you left, she enjoyed your company
Re: How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
From your description, she does not genuinely like you and it was just for the money

John,
What do you think prevents you from getting dates with women outside the club who are interested in dating you simply for you, with no money exchange?

Heh, that does not mean much either I have been on dutch dates with one (and she asked me out) but she still was lying until the end. Luckily I figured it out on the first date.
Re: How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
Probably both. I genuinely care about my customers, but I also have boundaries with my time and energy. I view what I do as therapeutic. I’m not friends with my therapist or my massage therapist. They do work in exchange for money. I don’t take it personally if a therapist doesn’t want to get lunch. In fact, being friends could harm our therapeutic relationship. Her job is to help me feel better. I’m not mad that my therapist doesn’t accept my phone calls around the clock.
Re: How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
Yeah but your therapist would probably be oncall for the 5 figure crypto investment she was asking lol. I did think we had something though maybe something slow and nice I just tipped her for conversation at the strip club and we lasted 4 hours just talking, but she was pure shark. I am just glad I noticed something off on the first date, because the con was deep and all encompassing, quite the effort. I still would be her friend if I could somehow know 100% fact from fiction.
Only civilian girls can ask me out on a date going forward, too much of a red flag otherwise.
Re: How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
I skimmed the post, but i hugged every single customer i ever had once the dance was over. I found it to be a sweet, non-awkward way to end the dance.
Definitely sounds like she was giving you some compliments to help bring you out of your shell and encourage more spending, nothing wrong with that.
Think of it like any service job you've ever had... you can enjoy certain customers in a professional context. That doesn't mean you want to date your customers. If she wanted to date you, she would've brought that up.

Nope, not even then :( ;D

Agreed. It happens, but very rarely. Totally agreed that even asking for a date outright is more likely fishing for OTC payments / gifts.
Re: How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
This is a great way to finish the dance, I would say this is your highlight :)
Re: How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
Charlie brought up the perfect point.
If a woman came into your office and then paid you for whatever you do, would you think she expected you to go out on a date with her? No just like the Dancer, you paid her for her time and thats that. You want more time, go back and bring your money. The biggest trouble is people who expect it to be more than that.

Exactly.

Or the hagglers. I just got asked 2 days ago to go gambling for free and the first thought in my head was "what made you think I was willing to do this for free or with my own money?" I don't ask my dentist out to watch a movie and expect free dental services. And literally please don't tell me you pay 400 for 2 hours usually with other women and act shocked with what I charge. It's completely posted in the ad for you to view the price....they just chose to avoid it and treat me like trash.
Nobody shows up on surgery day at their doctor and goes "Gee golly this is all I have on me. Wow you're expensive." Find someone else if you can't respect our time. It's a business not a matchmaking center.
Sorry for sounding like a douche. LOL.
Re: How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
I mean everyone deserves the most basic form of respect, I never treat a girl like trash, even if she rejects me. I do ask them out though, if I like her, I am not really afraid to ask.
Re: How do I tell if a stripper genuinely enjoyed my company?
In my opinion, there is no way to tell, some of them are so professional that they will truly make you believe they are amazed with your company, they take care of all the details: looks, smiles, the type of physical contact, tone of voice, etc.
I guess that if you get to some kind of communication outside the club, that is a good sign
