Re: Walking out of a room
You'd probably be better off posting this in the "Industry Discussions - Female Dancers, Ex-dancers, and Dancers To-Be ONLY" section of this Forum.
Re: Walking out of a room
Some of the women can be catty and try to act superior. It all boils down to a root insecurity. I you did the two previous hour long rooms, the hosts will probably appreciate that you are doing just fine.
That being said, I'm going to move this to the 'Stripping General' area, you can probably get better feedback there.
Re: Walking out of a room
Don’t worry about them. They’re just intimidated by new girls that the host is helping out.
Re: Walking out of a room
I often say that being a stripper is the ultimate meditation, because there are so many annoying people and situations that will test your patience and you will go insane if you let every one of them get to you. This is one of those situations where the best approach is to smile and let it be like water off a duck's back.
Re: Walking out of a room
Ah yes, the ladies in the club that try to act superior because they're intimidated. There's always the nice girls but man the a-holes like that just put you in a rage when you leave the club. Remember letting the jealous ones get away with so much crap with me when I was a baby stripper and I was trying to be nice with my tail between my legs. Nowadays, NAHHHH.
A comment like "How old are you? You've been doing this a long time huh?" is a good response when someone purposely puts you down in front a client. There should be no shame when someone is trying to affect your income. Or you could even tell them if they make those remarks again in front of a customer you will return the favor.
Re: Walking out of a room
Just ignore them. And go about your business.
Re: Walking out of a room
Something I want to add is most customers hate the petty drama between the dancers. They will straight up walk out but others, oh man, they get off on it. That he's got all these hot strippers fighting over little old him. Don't give in. Don't ever let the custy see you upset or annoyed or fighting with another dancer, ever ever ever. Just say "i'll be right back, I need to use the restroom" or the "the Dj is calling me" or the manager whoever, and just walk out.
