Update: had a surgery!
So, gross alert, I've had this for weeks, it was just something that itched &I scratched it, it started out as as scratches, evolved to this (see pic) I've been putting tea tree oil, 90% alcohol on it..
I looked up, kinda sounds like Brown recluse, spider, (but it's dead of winter here tho)
Not really wanting to go to Dr. :([

Re: Help, Possible spider bite?
Try cortizone, it should help with the itching.

Re: Help, Possible spider bite?
Thanks, I'll try, not itching now, more concerned /infection, but yes great suggestion :)

Re: Help, Possible spider bite?
I had a spider bite once on my lower leg. The spider must of bitten me while I was sleeping. I don't remember it itching but I had a hole deep in my leg. I put antibacterial ointment on it (I put in on heavily) and changed my bandages on it like 3-4 times a day. Thankfully it healed nicely and went away.

Re: Help, Possible spider bite?
If that was a brown recluse I don't think you'd be able to just deal with it for weeks. It looks like a really big wart to me, not sure how big warts can get.

Re: Help, Possible spider bite?
I really think you should see a doctor or at least have someone at a walk-in clinic take a look. That doesn't look like it is healing.

Initially, I dismissed this, but, you could be right.. It could be an infected wart
Anyway, I've a Dr. appt tomorrow morning. I am going to walk in clinic
This's going on too long.

Re: Help, Possible spider bite?
I'd doctor it up right about now. The redness around it indicates it's infected and if it's been weeks, that is not a good sign.

Re: Help, Possible spider bite?
Do you think Neosporin would help? What did the doctor say?
-
Re: Help, Possible spider bite?
I'm going to Dr tomorrow morning, I didn't use neosporine cause it looks pus-y.
Fucking hurts
I also have a cold sore on my lip, it's healing tho.

Re: Help, Possible spider bite?
Oh no.Yeah, you need to see the doctor. Because that spider bite looks pretty brutal. I saw that type of bite before and you need doctor to give you some medicine.

Re: Help, Possible spider bite?
I'm thinking they'll probably give you antibiotics. I hope you're feeling better.

I'm glad you got it taken off.

I'm so relieved you went and got treatment! I didn't like the looks of that at all and it could have made you super sick if an infection spread.
Best wishes on fast healing!

Re: Update: had a surgery!
Lol, they didn't know WTF it was, the skin was hard/dead, had to be cut out, Dr said it'd never heal (with the growth on) or grow back, it will leave a scar
they're sending it to be analyzed, at least 2 weeks!

Re: Update: had a surgery!
Glad you got it taken care of and hope you heal up nicely. That's strange they couldn't figure out what it was.
-
Re: Update: had a surgery!
Keep Vaseline on on it while it heals to reduce/eliminate scarring.
-
Re: Update: had a surgery!
The only thing I can think of is, the spider bite, cause Dr mentioned necrosis (dead skin), he also asked me if I had diabetes, which I don't.
I remember it starting out as something that itched, I scratched it, had some infected scratches that evolved into that ugly black/yellow sore w/hard skin..
Then up pops a cold sore on my lip too... Waiting on my meds, probably won't get til tomorrow.
Anyway, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH, I really appreciate your caring and asking about me, feeling so creepy w/roomies, (nothing new) I'd texted them to say about I wouldn't be taking up the dumpsters cause I had surgery, no one said a thing, lol what ev.::)

Dr said it would scar, it's ok as long as it heals.
Thanks though.

Re: Update: had a surgery!
I hope you will heal well.

Re: Update: had a surgery!
Oh wow! I'm glad you had that looked at. I hope it heals well and you get the results back soon. *hugs*
