Actually, COVID didn't change my health habits that much. I have been using hand sanitizer since high school, didn't like hand shaking, and etc. But COVID did effect me purchasing furniture and other stuff. However, my business grew over this time. So, I am grateful to have my health and business.
2020 was when fake-ass friends showed me their true colors. When one of them blocks me on Facebook, the rest of her cult follow (by blocking or unfriending me) because they kiss this chick's ass...and can't seem to think for themselves. She didn't like the fact that I'm the ONE person in that group who doesn't kiss ass, and will gently tell you the truth about yourself when you ask me. Oh well. 20-something year olds who've never paid rent/a bill in their life, and expect the world to revolve around them. That's when I realized I don't need to be friends with people that I could've given birth to. LOL. I'm about to be 40.....
I just recently started drinking more water, and I've just gone off the Depo shot (Not supposed to be on it longer than 2 years anyway, and it causes bone loss). I don't want those hormones in my system anymore, and I'm also done with all of these vaccine booster shots. I'm having too many throbbing headaches, the hot flashes suck, my blood pressure's gone up, and I'm breathing heavily. Now, as of a few days, I'm suddenly having ear pain and jaw pain. WTF.
But I am very happy that I finally have a doctor who LISTENS to me and isn't dismissive, and because of her I finally had the endometrial ablation procedure done last week (This was long overdue).
I'm happy to have a college freshman who's doing well living on campus, and just did his own taxes for the first time.
I'm happy that I was in the Inked Magazine Cover Model Search for a little while, and made it all the way to Top 10 within my group.
I'm happy to learn that...for the time being...I DO NOT have diabetes (It runs in my family), and that the glucose test only showed that alarming result because I was a dingbat and made the mistake of eating an orange and drinking Mountain Dew just minutes before they pricked my arm. LOL.
I'm happy that I'm turning the big 40 this year, and that the new security guy who just started working at the karaoke bar asked to see my ID. Lol. :)
January of 2022 was a pretty rotten month (Had covid...my son had an ear infection...I was asked out and stood up by a compulsive liar...etc.), but February was a better month. I'm trying to make 2022 a great year. :)
