Fashion, trends and style (clothes, beauty, hair etc) in general
I thought it could be fun to have a thread where we can talk about fashion trends or style in general.
One beauty trend I'm kind of pleased to see emerge lately is the thinner eyebrows, I won't pluck my brows because I like them fuller but the big eyebrow trend had gone a bit too far I feel. Now it seems like people are relaxing a bit more and are more open to whatever style suits their face more, as it should be. Not everyone looks good with that heavy brow that everyone was doing for a while, and it's boring when everyone looks the same. I prefer variety and options. Personally I think I'm going to stop with all brow products except for maybe a tinting brow gel, and leave it looking a bit more natural or imperfect whenever I wear make up (most of the time I can't be bothered to).

Well, former Fashion Major here..
I actually took a class, Fashion Motivation..
We had to analyze & illustrate w/pics, different looks for different body types, & seasons, person's figures, coloring, etc..
I aced it, w/A+.
I love dressing up, (Ren Faire, Halloween, etc)
I have a fair amount of 'costume-y' stuff, I just pulled leopard print sweater out of my storage..
I love to rework customize stuff too!

I agree with the heavy brows. I'm glad the medium one are ok now haha ( what I have ).
Without makeup and an eyebrow pencil mine are thin and it never looked right to try to pretend they were full and fluffy.

I'm so glad about this too. If your face can't carry thick eyebrows you.can't.have.thick.eyebrows. It doesn't matter how in style they are, being on trend does't matter if it makes you look like a neanderthal.

Unfortunately by definition I don't think trends CAN allow for a ton of diversity, I think that would defeat their purpose. I think we are in a good time for beauty ideals though because thanks to social media we're able to see infinite types. Especially since algorithms are tailored to us, we're able to see tons of examples of what we like.

I've never been a fan of trends, but I like to look at it and see if something can apply to me, to improve my appearence.
Other than that, I wish I was a celebrity. I'd wear Zuhair Murad and Elie Saab dresses with every single red carper event. They make the most stunning dresses I have ever seen.
Speaking of my style, I am a jeans and t shirt type of girl, but I am looking to elevate my style, so this is my current inspiration (this is a screenshot from my pinterest board):

But I need to learn rocking heels. I have tons of heels, but only for cam/ content, lol. If I try to walk on them, it's over, lol.
And speaking of TRENDS, now that a lil more thick heels are trendy, I don't need to wear stilettos. Some nice thick heels type of nude boots/ sandals are perfect for me to still look elegant, walk decent, keep my balance and not risk looking ridiculous. Oh and not having to deal with foot pain.
What I noticed, looking on the street at women who wear heels. 90% can't wear them. They don't know how to walk, they are basically stomping and it looks ridiculous. I'd probably look the same, so I rather pick something comfier, especially when I've been used to sport shoes my whole life.
Edit: I wore those at a wedding and... maaan, I could dance and walk the whole night and I started having foot pain right before it was the time to go home. If I was used to heels, I wouldn't feel any pain at all, probably. So yeah, pretty dope!

Re: Fashion, trends and style (clothes, beauty, hair etc) in general
I’m thinking about what are some other trends or styles that I love but can’t partake in because they don’t look good on me. A big one for me will always be minimalistic heels, I love things like clear heels or heels that just have one or a couple tiny straps….but you have to have pretty feet for them and I have ugly feet. So they are flat-out a no-go. Heels like this: https://www.stevemadden.com/collecti...ticky_atc=true
I also really love sexy bodysuits like this but when you have big fake boobs it would just end up looking like a tacky stripper outfit: https://www.nakedwardrobe.com/womens...-jumpsuit.html Plus because I’m tall stuff like that tends to look ‘superhero-ish’ on me.
I also love sheer clothes but again when you have big fake boobs it just looks more like a stripper outfit and less chic. I love this: https://www.nakedwardrobe.com/new-ar...esh-dress.html

I wish I was tall, damn...
PS: I like this nakedwardrobe site... definitely tons of stuff I wouldn't wear alone, but accesorized with some extra blazer or something would look great!. some stuff are great to wear under a see trough outfit, like I said above.

Re: Fashion, trends and style (clothes, beauty, hair etc) in general
^^Ideally I would do a black thong and a skimpy black bra underneath if I had the right body for it. I really recommend that site because the fabric that they use is really nice and thick and holds you in. I’ve bought 7 or 8 pieces from them over the last couple years and have only worn 1 of them though because I never go out. :dunce:

Cutie 101 I love the inspo board !
Screams classy.
I have some similar pieces ( the whole outfit of the green dress on the right ).
I also have a couple sleek black pants similar to what is pictured on the board.
I'm 5'8'' so I ONLY wear a heel at the club or when out somewhere fancy ( mostly for a photo then I put them back in a bag haha ).

Thank you! Yeah, all of those outfits look perfect on tall women. I am 5'0 and I struggle. I literally am obsessed to look at Gal Gadot, to me, that woman has a perfect body, perfect height and her outfits are just... ahhh... those long legs. I am dead.
This white dress on Wonder Woman 1984 movie, got glued on my brain... it's just perfect on her Attachment 56975
Also, Khloe Kardashian's red outfit... another one that stuck into my mind and it looks PERFECT. I wished she dressed more like this, she fucking nails it and she has the perfect body for those outfits Attachment 56976
I also noticed that men tend to behave more gentleman'ish and become simps around a woman who is dressing more classy but sexy, compared to a woman that dresses a bit more like... Cardi B style. Basically, a woman with a Marylin Monroe type of attitude and style will get a man on his knees, with her simple presence. I don't know why or how, but it seems to be their soft spot.
I noticed that on cam too. I get different behaviors according to what I wear. When I dress more elegant, but sexy, I do get more decent customers and less assholes. Of course, I work in the adult industry, too classy is not reccomended either, but styling the outfits a little does work wonders!
Maybe it's just me, but that's what I realized in time.

Re: Fashion, trends and style (clothes, beauty, hair etc) in general
Unpopular opinions: 1.) I want low-rise stuff to come back, especially super low-rise. I keep seeing people on social media bemoaning the return of the low-rise.....but I'm not actually seeing it anywhere? My mid-section is probably my best feature and I was too young during the initial low-rise era to hoochie it up and partake so I want my chance now.
2.) I'm sorry, I love Rihanna, she is a fashion God, but I have always thought her Fenty lingerie looked like stuff you'd find at Target.

Re: Fashion, trends and style (clothes, beauty, hair etc) in general
I never follow current fashions honestly. I still dress like a deathrocker/goth girl from the 80s. I have an endless love for black lace EVERYTHING down to my punky studded & rubber bracelets I wear. I stand out everywhere but it's more fun that way. I always get called Madonna LOL

I did partake in low rise originally, longtime hoochie. Was wearing diesel low rise with Chinese laundry heels in 7th grade. Now I am trying to repurchase an identical pair of diesel like I used to wear. R13, moussy, and rag and bone have the best lowrise right now imo.
I am actually pumped for the y2k reboot. I get to use all my hard earned experience to bring it back more refined and luxe. I’m watching some throwback reality shows to partially catch some inspiration.

Me too... actually, I have a belly and everything now, but damned be me if I am gonna wear high waisted stuff when I'll get ripped. I am putting too much work for that haha! Not really helpful since I am 5'0 and high waisted stuff suit me, but I definitely see myself in a pair of classic low rise adidas track pants.

I'm also loving the Y2k return. I graduated high school in 2006, and still have a couple of juicy hoodies WAY in the back of my closet. But it's something I also want to play around with.. I love the style but need to tone it down/modernize it for the grown up world I now live in.

Re: Fashion, trends and style (clothes, beauty, hair etc) in general
I think I’m going to buy some Birkenstocks. :beady: I always thought they were hideous until I saw Beyonce in a pair and I thought she actually made them look okay, and ever since then I keep seeing more and more fashion influencers in them and now I feel like they’re like the modern day Ugg. Like they’re the comfortable, ugly, neutral shoe you throw on with whatever casual outfit.

Funny I was going through my closet a few days ago and found a pair. I plan to wear soon too.

I'm glad short haircuts for women are back now. My co worker is in her 20s, and rocks a crew cut that favors her since she has a "kitten face."
I can't do super short hair so I just enjoy seeing it on other women.

Uggs are back in style now too!
