^^^You know, I honestly don't hate it. But I think there's other women who could have pulled it off better.
Reminds me, I had a customer the other day who said I looked like Julia Fox or had the 'Julia Fox look' which was odd because......we look absolutely nothing alike. But he meant it in a good way so hey whatever works.

Re: Fashion, trends and style (clothes, beauty, hair etc) in general
I love Anna Bey's channel. She started as a "how to atract rich men" type of channel, where honestly, her advice is on point. Actually she's not teaching women how to trick and lure rich men, she teaches women how to become elegant and elevante themselves, how to grow their social circle and what places to attend, where actually rich men spend time, in order to atract a man like that. I really like her, especially since she shown her journey on how she started low (she's even been in a reality show) and learned to grow and become high class. I've learned lots of stuff and definitely reccomend her channel. But what I love THE MOST about her, is that she's not looking down on other women, she doesn't judge or insult and she doesn't have that superior attitude of "now I am high class so anyone less isn't worthy". She shows bad examples, but in a non judgemental way, which I love a lot.
Now her chanel is mostly about how to be, dress and act as an elegant woman, with rare posts about how to atract men (but they are still good). So yeah, her latest video speaks my mind. As a camgirl, I have to wear exactly the no-no clothes she talks about and yeah, she's right, I wouldn't wear them in the day to day life. As she said "free peep show for men" loloolol:

Re: Fashion, trends and style (clothes, beauty, hair etc) in general
Personally, I don't follow too many modern fashion trends. For example, I am a big fan of 1920s eyebrows. I love thin pencil-in brows. Back in junior high school, I wore my eyebrows super thin.

Also, I adore wearing Victorian and Edwardian boots as well. I love the narrow cut of these boots. Boots like this.

I want to look more girly and wear dresses etc. I have many but never wear. I also miss winter fashion since I moved to Texas. When I was in London I would always get the Vogue and Elle magazine in summer with all the winter trends. I always looked forward to a new coat and boots.

Birkies last forever. So comfortable too

Soooo, I was going trough my shoes closet, to see what I haven't wear in a while and what I got for summer and... woooh, found this pair that I barely wore. Time to buy myself some nice jumpsuits or flare long pants (something like this https://www.phase-eight.com/product/...220073751.html , that go down to the ground), it's gonna make my short 5'0 legs look like a supermodel!!!

I needed to buy slippers because the dust here is so bad that no matter how much I swiffer them my floors are always dusty and make my feet dirty when I walk around barefoot, I was thinking of getting the Ugg ones that I see everyone wearing but I was like 'nvm it's too hot,' and I just bought some cheap slippers on Amazon instead. These were the Ugg ones I liked:

Oh well it saved me $70+. But now that I know they work in the heat, if these cheap ones disintegrate quickly I can switch to Uggs. Uggs last for FOREVER.

Has anyone bought any Skims? I see everyone (online) in this bodysuit: https://skims.com/products/sculpting...-w-snaps-umber and I love it but I'm wondering how thick the fabric actually is because I feel like it's only going to look cute if I don't have to wear a bra with it, and I can only forgo a bra if the fabric is actually super thick.

Re: Fashion, trends and style (clothes, beauty, hair etc) in general
No my friend with huge boob s just ordered skims.

^^^My feet are getting so sweaty in my cheap slippers that I may have to splurge for Uggs after all since the sheepskin wicks away sweat. These are the ones I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...TF8&th=1&psc=1

I will probably just wear flip flops style for summer. My feet sweat too.

Re: Fashion, trends and style (clothes, beauty, hair etc) in general
I like skims in general but on the reality show, Khloe correctly stated that skims panty crotch is tiny. Most of the fabric is decent but thin. I don’t have that bodysuit but the slip I recently got was flattering but full nipple.

^^^Unfortunately I can't do those slides either because I had a Nike pair a couple years ago that I was wearing a lot and they gave me calluses. I guess I have temperamental feet.

I just got a cheap pair of foam flip flops from Wal-Mart , I'm going to get the cotton granny slides too.

Has anyone bought anything from Halara? I just bought 2 skirts after seeing them on tiktok, I’m nervous because I’m usually a L or XL with bottoms but their size chart said I’m a medium so I got mediums. They seem to use plenty of bigger girls in their advertising so I’m hoping it’s not likely that they will run too small. I hope they work out because I like a lot of their dresses too.

Has anyone tried the whole scalp detox trend?

Re: Fashion, trends and style (clothes, beauty, hair etc) in general
^^^You might get more feedback if you post about it in the beauty randoms thread, but personally I think it sounds like another marketing gimmick. Especially when they wrote about the in-salon treatment:
Many salons offer in-house treatments to help detox the scalp, which provides a more luxurious (and typically more effective) result. Most salons will steam the scalp to help loosen buildup,
"Steam the scalp?" Like what happens to it when you take a hot shower?
then they'll thoroughly scrub the entire scalp with an over-the-counter option.
Like how it gets scrubbed when you lather your shampoo onto it when you wash your hair?
The treatment is usually complete with a scalp-focused shampoo and conditioner.
"Scalp-focused shampoo and conditioner" as opposed to what? Eyelid-focused shampoo? Elbow-focused shampoo? Tongue-focused shampoo? What shampoo is not formulated for the scalp?

You spoke my mind. Scalp detox is same shit with body detox. If body wouldn't be detoxed, we would die. Thank god we poo/pee and naturally detox ourselves lol.
Scalp not being detoxed, means that by now I was supposed to be hairless and full of dirt, clogged pores and dandruff. I have seboreic dermatitis, I get huge flakes when I am stressed, I pretty much know what means if my scalp wasn't detoxed.

They also have little scalp massagers for the shower. I have gifted the one I use to my girlfriends and they really appreciated it for the weeks they have put their hair through hell. Personally I have experienced noticeable additional hair growth since I added it in.

Well....my cheap slippers already have a hole. I went on the Ugg site and filled in my info so I can get an alert when the ones I like come back in my size, hopefully they do.

But I actually like them with shorts too which I was not expecting, I think because I have bigger legs they don't look as huge and blocky on my feet. I think they--and bulky shoes in general--can look funny on girls with skinny legs.
