Re: The bathroom attendants
People dont realize that back in our so called Golden Age of Customer Service and Style, Bathroom Attendants were a mainstay, usually paired with a shoe shine station as well. They kept lint rollers and in general those little touches to give a "gentleman" his edge so to speak. They have multiple purposes beyond the obvious.
Those who complain simply dont know what class is.
Re: The bathroom attendants
You know, I came across br attendants in classy hotels, but also at concerts..
Didn't really need anything, but nice they were there.
Re: The bathroom attendants
I actually like bathroom attendants because typically they are in the more upscale venues and when I see them it reminds me I’m in a more ritzy place and I’m thankful for the experience
The ones who actually do their damn job though not the lazy ones who are just laying around, playing candy crush, then acting all rude when you don’t tip them for simply existing.
Re: The bathroom attendants
They are also commonly referred to as "bathroom trolls" on that blue site, lol.
My views have changed over the years as well. When one spends enough time in strip clubs, one begins to appreciate having access to a clean bathroom. While I try to do my major bathroom businessbefore I hit the club, urgent moments do arise. I've been in enough full clubs at midnight to know what a bathroom can be like after a train of drunk guys have trashed it all night long.

Yes, and Key West is not known for self restraint. Especially Spring Break, FantasyFest, etc. :D

Ok, ? How wild is it down there right now?
I hearing lots of crazy stuff from Miami..
Re: The bathroom attendants
Are any of them paid by the venues to be there or do they rely solely on tips?
I never thought about how they are keeping the place clean after drunk people.... I haven't been out to a nightclub or any sort of place that has them in years but I just remember groaning because I knew I was about to have to feel rude for not tipping someone to hand me a paper towel.
Same way I felt about house moms. I never ever needed anything from a house mom, so they'd ignore me with the rudest air possible; they all expected to be tipped even if you didn't use any of their "services".

I always assumed they were paying the club to be there. Also the valet parking and shoe shine guys.

I assume they reply only on tips, just like waiters
