An emotional Kim is then seen talking to her lawyers about the sex tape, telling them that she will 'sue' over any unreleased footage and 'burn' anyone who is involved in re-releasing the tape 'to the ground', while admitting she 'can't go through this again', according to the LA Times.
'I don’t want it to be copied. I have four kids. I can’t go through this again,' she says. 'This was like 20 years ago. I’m not going to go through this again. I know the right attorneys this time. I know exactly what to do this time... I have all the time, all the money, and all of the resources to burn them all to the ground.'
Damn, pretty fucking scary. Even though I agree that the law and morality is on her side, it is still disturbing for a billionaire to flex like that. Peter Theill burned Gawker to the ground in a similar revenge tour.
Re: Kim K: called bashing working women
^^^I don't think it's a flex, it's a threat. I would do the same thing.

Nah I flex when I threaten.
In all seriousness what if she hurt your cashflow in the process though? Vivid owns the "rights" to her tape, what if she went scorched earth like Thiel and targeted all camsites and shut them all down? Pam's tape was initially spread by camsites during the early web.
I think she should do it using current laws (arresting and prosecuting those responsible today), or lobby for new laws, essentially make it about having a framework about protecting women in the future (including the concept that revenge porn rights can revert to the victims), I would support that 100%.
A revenge tour is a bad, bad idea.

If they are releasing unseen footage it doesn't sound like it's the same footage she signed her rights away over so I think it would make sense for her to sue. Not sure what any of this has to do with camsites.

Idk how she would sue NOT using current laws, also her tape wasn't revenge porn.

How is litigation a 'revenge tour?'

Right, she has a good case, essentially remain dispassionate and let justice rule in her favor, set precedent and lobby for positive change.
The problem is that she threatened scorched earth, billionaire scorched earth is very disturbing to say the least.
Peter Thiel was outed by Gawker, he then went on a crusade to take revenge which came ironically when Gawker releasing a sex tape of Hulk Hogan, he then funded Hulk Hogan's scorched earth litigation to sue Gawker and drive them out of business, to the tune of 10+ million dollars. It affected Gawker, Kotaku, Jalopnik, etc etc, hurting a lot of innocent bystanders/employees in the process.
In the end nothing changed, there was no change in the laws to protect private leaked video victims, or against getting outed without their consent. What people learned was not "lets respect consent" but "never fuck with a billionaire".

Yeah you are right leaked home videos then.
Even though Vivid paid 5 million dollars according to that article the rights should revert to her, and she can shut down future sales, Also prosecution for those that release the extra footage. Working within the framework is fine, changing the framework is fine. I am not against that, and if this is what she means by burning it down, then I stand corrected.

Kim K needs to stuff it. & Trust me any lifelong Los Angeles resident has a cultural understanding of the working poor in that region- they're the ones populating most of the city, the ones you don't see on Entertainment Tonight.
Part of me is fascinated they keep finding filler topics to shoot the reality TV show with.....maybe that's why they didn't let Lamar Odom OD....lol....
Re: Kim K: called bashing working women
I feel like a lot of these people are all, "look at me & what I got"
& not just celebs but some wealthy ppl in general..

The real "driver" of all this nonsense is Kim's mother. I'll leave it at that.
I wonder what Robert Kardashian, God rest his soul, would think......
Re: Kim K: called bashing working women
The Kardashians has become Hulu’s biggest series premiere in U.S. history.

And these are examples why. Whether you love them or hate them, people love to talk about them which keeps them relevant.
Re: Kim K: called bashing working women
I don't love talking about them, I do see your point.
Really just wanted an alternative to the WS slap.

You might be out of luck on that one too. If these reports are true, you may be hearing a lot more about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett.

Of course it's possible that this is nothing more than rumors.
