Meh, this is all a PR stunt. If we divide $630 at the 9 products, it brings a cost of $70/product, which is not outrageously expensive at all. I mean that's double the price of Paula's Choice products.
A 5 products Paula's Choice kit is about $150. If there were 9 products, it would have been almost $300.
Probably not gonna buy it, my skin is happy and takes everything it needs from PC and The Ordinary, but her team definitely did what they do best: creating controverse over nothing :)))
LOL.
What about her tearing Marilyn Monroe's famous dress??

Anyway, Where's LA Prairie & some other pricey shit?
It's not her fault tho... those who were in charge of keeping the dress untouched are to blame for allowing this. That's why rules are rules, otherwise, everyone would break them, right?
I've read she wore it only for the red carpet photos, then there was a booth waiting, for her to change into a dress. They didn't let her wear it more than few minutes.
I honestly suspect she didn't wear it at all, it was all a PR stunt and she wore a fake from the very beginning (one that was made by the original dress measurements) and then pretended to change into a fake on her measurements.
We already know they purposely photoshop their photos and leave traces of "bad photoshop" to create outrage in the online media, to have people talking about it. I am not surprised if she didn't wear the original dress at all and just pretended (of course, probably agreed with the museum to shush about it and just declare she wore it). Idk... it's obvious when it comes from them.

She did pay 30k for it..
Exactly, why did they take the money and leave her wear it? Some history items are fucking priceless. If I go tomorow with $50k will they let me sleep in a Tutankhamun Sarcophagus, with the risk of breaking it? I'd fire those who allowed this, it's unnaceptable to just bend over for a millionaire's extravagances, when it comes to preserve history. Bleh. Honestly $30k is fucking nothing, a Birkin bag costs more.
Also, as old as the dress is, any kind of wear & tear, handling is gonna affect it, it probably has to be kept under a certain temperature/humidity.
If they were concerned about it, just have a dupe made? I believe Rhianna had a similar garment, a few years ago

I would never use celebrity skincare. I would prefer to pay for med spa stuff and procedures.
