Re: Best Advice You Recieved
One girl said to me once "it's not our fault if they're gulible, they should know better" when I was hiding in the dressing room, trying to figure how I'd nicely blow off some guy who kept coming in trying to take me out
Re: Best Advice You Recieved
keep yourself clean, and don't fall prey to all the drama that goes on inside clubs. In other words, work, and mind your own business, keep a distance from the other dancers (but be kind to them) and you can go far.

1. Make your money in this business and don't let it make you.
2. Leave this business on YOUR terms plan your exit NOW, don't be forced out of it because you are too old but too BROKE to stop.

Dont trust any dancer. They steal. Learn the hard way. Another dancer at the club I was working with told me the some girls would be nice to you, to find you weakness. I'm too nice.

Bravo Bravo! Encore!
Every stripper in the world should have that written on their bathroom mirror.

Here is one from the Xman that just applies to life in general no matter what you do for a living.
"Forgive yourself for what you did yesterday and don't do anything today that you cannot live with tomorrow."
Re: Best Advice You Recieved
It's a living, not a lifestyle.

I personally don't have an exit plan. I really don't know....I wish I did, but I don't. I just figure if I have no debt and money in the bank, then I'm doing okay. I love dancing. I want to do it as longa s possible.
Re: Best Advice You Recieved
Em,
If you have no debt and money in the bank you have a hell of a start on an exit plan. The people I worry about are the ones with no real estate, no investments, no money in the bank and thousands of dollars of credit card debt from buying toys, clothes and gadgets. ;)

Don't bring anything valuable to work! *read: cell phone* I had mine stolen today! Lucky I have insurance but it still hurts :(
