I pretty much always dance days. I'm sure it's different at every club but at mine, less girls show up for day shifts because there are less guys. Less girls = less competition. There's a smaller chance that their will be a girl prettier than you or who resembles you at all. I started dancing on day shifts and just love them! I've danced a few nights. It's more exciting. The club is buzzing. But, I find it a bit stressful.
I pretty much work only days so that I can be home at night with my son. I'll do some nights now and then. I've usually made more money on nights, but then, when I've worked nights, its usually been like a Friday or Saturday night so I really don't how the money would compare through the entire week.
I think it would probably depend on the area the club is in as to how you would do on days. The club is definitely less crowded and hectic during the day. But there are less girls working, so the competition for customers isn't a great either. The first thing I noticed when I started dancing days was that the really successful girls had lots of regulars. So I think it takes more time to start making money on days. Also I think its more important to work consistently when you are on days. If a regular gets out of his meeting early, he may stop by and get a few dances, IF he can be reasonably certain you will be there.
Personally, I prefer days, the more laid back atmosphere suits me better than the frenzy of the night shift. I think would be a good way to start out.
Dayshift depends on the club - some are great, some are completely dead. Look for clubs in a business district that have lunch buffets or 2pm specials or something.
Day shifts do tend to be about regulars, so it may take a little while to start making good money.

another thng I've noticed about dayshift is the girls are more catty since they have more time to intereact with each other and there's much more territorial crap since there are fewer customers.
I can't stand day shift, but it's true there is less competition for girls, but I found the ration of girls to guys to be off. On the other hand, guys that come during the day will not stay as long and will buy dances sooner.
I've worked dayshift on and off for years.
It really depends on the club and the area its in that will determine how good a dayshift is. Upscale areas in an established club that has been around for years are the ones you want to do a dayshift in. Sometimes it takes awhile to make money, but if you develop regulars it can be quite profitable. The cons are there are less customers to work with, you have to get along with the few girls who are there, and sometimes the regulars you do get can be a pain in the ass.
I'd rather work a club that has a good dayshift if I can, because I can dance for older men who are more free with their money, and not have to deal with chain smoking crowds of younger cheaper guys and inexperienced night girls who cant seem to get their act together.
Thanks so much, you all have great points about day shift. Think I'll do it to get use to dancing, with it being less hetic and all. 8)
